Music is powerful. Here is probably my all time favorite song. It pretty much describes me to a T. I also grew up to this band. I am not really into the new age pop stuff... I love oldies. If I do listen to new music it's usually dubstep, anything with no lyrics. It makes me have a creative mind when I draw etc.
This song fit me to a T when I was struggling. I been making progress so this song means a lot. Love this band too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckAAj6mu2zI

This is the kind of stuff I listen to when I am feeling artistic. I really get into the zone. : -) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Zy8CMfTDsM
This is the #1 song I'v been listening to the past half of my life. It really cought me when I first heard it. I still think its one of the best songs I'v ever heard although I seldom listen to it anymore. Its strange how one song can captivate you for such a long time.

Another song that I really like, and that speaks to me alot is the one below. There is so much emotion in that one.

And the last one I think fills the role of mood-lifter! Jesus.. in the past I could dance to this song for hours at the clubs.

By the way, if there is anyone living in Europe and has Spotify, feel free to add Xmoog.
That Animals song is awesome. I love the Animals. Here's a crazy mix of some favorites:

It's so hard to pick favorites. I absolutely love post-rock/instrumental bands. These are probably the top three in that category but I also listen to a lot of heavy metal and electronica. Iron Maiden is my all time fave, along with Primus. These are some really amazing musicians though.

:) I was very much into music like Covenant and Assemblage about 8 years ago and still listen to some of that stuff but mainly I have become an omnivore when it comes tomusic.

Just enjoying the (almost) full moon and chilling for a while.
Enjoy nature! Although this planet is so chaotic, I am grateful to have been born on Earth because of its enormous beauty. If it weren't for nature, I really couldn't stand this world in any way.
Thank you Mother Earth!
Awe, Carla.
Chaos is there. And Beauty is there. But Beauty is where we choose to reside. It does not mean we ignore chaos, and it does not mean we are without error. But most of us know what direction makes our Heart happy. And it is a practice. Heaven can be experienced here on this planet now. Beautiful video.
In Divine Mythology- order is forged from Chaos. To think of all the chaos that made this beauty is sublime, and the chaos becomes less problematic.
I love Anjunadeep! Here's on I fell in love with just this morning. I hope you watch the music video too.
Here's a group worth discovering!
Sharing after a lovely friend shared this group elsewhere
Enjoy! : )
And
Very true, I think that is what being in this Earth is all about, learning to navigate in the dual world, to balance energy and transform it, to be a good navigator. And in the end, do not judge anything, because everything has a purpose no matter how incomprehensible it may seem.
Really enjoyed all the music. I love how with such basic and somewhat retro effects, they have been able to design such a creative and nice video. I liked the introduction and the reference to the cellular/molecular world, which has been recurring in my hypnagogic states lately.
I liked starting the day, eating my oatmeal, with this music.
Thank you! :-D
This weekend I happened to watch the German qualification show for that infamous "Eurovision Song Contest" (in May this year).
The candidates had to play cover versions for this first round. Some did some surprisingly cool stuff even though (or because?) it was very different from the originals.
(admittedly I don't know the original here:)
