don't know about australia specifically, but i've also read some newspaper clippings where american police have used help from psychics (though it rarely says that the police contacted the psychic).
i've also met a person who claims to be psychic and who said she's helped police on a number of cases. she also said that she's been officially tested and found to be about 98% accurate (but what constitues "accurate" can be very vague in some tests)
it just seems that police like to keep such things as quiet as possible so that the public and the media don't start thinking that the police are useless and clueless as to how to protect the people.

I watched a documentary on psychics used in police investigations in the U.S., and they concluded that the psychics were useless in helping. I actually don't believe that psychics are useless, and believe they actually can help. They must have used some faulty testing or somethin.
Just curious if anyone knows of any police officers or detectives who use mediums/remote viewing, etc, in Australia?
I know that officially it is denied, but there was a newspaper article about three months ago talking about a woman who was very accurate and was helping police. Could kick myself for not keeping it.
