Rainbow Bridge Symbolism

Hi All,
Has anyone else given thought to what the Rainbow Bridge represents ?

We find references to it in Judeo-Christianity, in the earliest records of the Nordic races, in the Druidic legacies, and so many other myths and legends.

For it to be so prominent in so many different places and cultures, it must represent something for us all.

Years ago I started on a series of Journeys with the Guides that resulted in a Kundalini raising to the Brow Chakra and it's enlightening experience of Oneness that is a part of that level of awareness.....   What the lead up to the experience showed me was that the way to Bridge the gap from this human awareness level to that of our divine-self's awareness is through the raising of Kundalini up the central spine.. THROUGH all the other chakras.

So in effect what you are doing is slowly building your own Bridge through the Rainbow of our Chakra to open oursleves to our higher awarenesses.

What really gelled this for me was when the Kundalini reached the Brow it was joined/opened by an immensely powerful White Light.  And we know that rainbows are a result of refracting White Light through a vessel (crystal, rain, human body with it's 90% water, etc).

So it seems to me that the ancient stories of the Rainbow Bridge are symbolisms left for us to re-connect with... there is a path among the many that will bring you to your higher awareness.  And it seems that we have been left with the remaining imagery of it's importance.

For instance, God set the Rainbow in the sky as a sign of his agreement and promise to man.   Was it not showing us the Way?  Did the Creator leave us with an image that we can understand and follow it's simple message of, "If you desire to KNOW and exist in full connection with the great Spirit you are, then develop along the Chakra to reach your higher-awareness".?

Makes sense to me, wot say you ?

I think it's interesting that you can't follow the rainbow at all. It's a circle you can't see completely in most cases, and has no real physical location, it's a trick on the eye, an illusion. In a way, that as a token of god's promise is kind of humorous, isn't it?

In a rainbow-chakra type way, it makes everything different, I agree there. But I don't agree with chakras, either.

Wasn't that the name of Xena's Frisbee?

Anyway, maybe I just don't understand chakras very well. I certainly don't understand them the way you do.

Yes I've thought about this before... that the spectrum of visible light directly corresponds to the colors of our chakra system... ROY G BIV... just like we learn in school. The story/legend that really strikes me is that of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Where else could that have come from! You have to make it to the end of the rainbow in order to receive the ultimate... but the rainbow within, not without.

Theosophy teaches that it is the bridge that connects us to the higher realms and the one where we dissipate our bodies and exist entirely in the materialized astral body.

Very complicated and difficult to understand reading and my understanding of it may be wrong.  But it is an interesting point of view.

Since I do believe we are all, as a planet and a species, becoming more astral, perhaps we are collectively working on that bridge, even if on a subconscious level.

Calling in the colors of the rainbow within your highest chakra is also said to be a calming and enlightening experience as well as a cleansing one - sort of a path to wholeness.

We are all wounded beings, and focusing on the colors of the rainbow has soothed some of my spiritual wounds.  Not entirely as I have yet to master the techniques.
