A thread to discuss anything Narnia-related - the books, the film, the BBC versions of the tales...

I meant to go and see the film of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe when it was released last year, but I didn't. Since I like the books, I do want to see the film, eventually, plus the other ones when they're released.

I've been reading up about the film, and a lot of people seem to think that the guy who played Edmund (Skandar Keynes) was really good, which pleases me, as Edmund has always been my favourite character (I also like the name a lot.)

Of the books, I think my favourite is The Voyage of The Dawn Treader, with The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe coming close - sometimes the two interchange, and LWW becomes my favourite, but right now, it's Dawn Treader. I think The Silver Chair is my next favourite, followed by Prince Caspian, followed by The Magician's Nephew, then The Last Battle and then The Horse and His Boy.

I think I first read The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe when I was about nine. I'd had the book for a while, but thought it looked boring. Then I saw a cartoon version and loved it, so I read the book, and then I got the others. Edmund was my favourite character almost from the beginning.
