saw a portrait while meditating

I'm very new to astral projection and every step I am finding myself still shocked that this is all real.Shocked and excited! I say this even though I haven't even gone too far, yet.

The other night I woke up very early and immediately laid back down to meditate in hopes to either accidentally astral project again or to contact my guide. Much to my surprise I saw a black and white portrait of a women from around the 1940's instead! Whoa! This was highly unusual for me since I've never seen anything this clear with my eyes closed before (only the shape of my guides face, minor light shapes and a dial at the opening of my third eye). It was also highly unusual because I have no idea who this woman is!

Long story short, I am now thinking that it's my husband's grandma but we're waiting on the actual picture to confirm. I've never seen her before and he's never seen a picture of her at the age of the pic I saw but my mother-in-law thinks it sounds like her. I believe it makes a lot of sense for it to be her so that it will connect me and my husband in my spiritual journey. He's open minded but every step I'm taking it just doesn't mean much to him since he's not going through it and I could just have a great imagination  Uhhhh yeah.

Anyway, WHOA...I feel like I am totally on the cliff of some major awakening.

It is an exciteing time when you first "SEE" with your eyes closed, now you are on the right path, Now you know how to "look" all you need is to keep practicing, in time it will come naturally,
You are opening new pathways and strenghening exsisting ones.

It is always hard to make those who do not "see" understand, but many here do understand what you are going through.

I cannot comment on the "old woman", as what i see varies all the time, from the "eye with lashes" to scenes from many different eras, to mathematical shapes that blow your mind, star systems, and much more,
It makes what we see with our eyes,feel like analogue,compared to hd 3d with closed eyes.

Have you confirmed that picture with the original one?

I can think of several things .  A random image , a pic. you saw on t.v. or as a kid and forgot .  A loved one giving you this image .  The spirit of some one you dont know giving you the image .  You could go back in to meditation and ask what the pic means .  desert rat
