Title: Screen Names
Post by: WalkerInTheWoods on May 02, 2002, 05:55:04
Interesting question. Should get some good answers.

When I first got on the internet several years ago  I came up with my screen name on yahoo, fallnangel77. It was a poetic fallen angel, not a religious meaning like I am or ever was a satanist or devil worshiper. I felt it described me pretty well. My interests being the exploration of deeper truths beyond the physical. At the time I was pretty much Christain but starting to question my beliefs. Also during that time I had moved out on my own completely so the world seemed rather large and confusing. I was starting on a journey to find out who I am. So it was a rather confusing time for me. I felt that fallen angel described my state pretty well, going from the safety of my parents' home to the chaos of being on my own. Of coarse fallen angel was taken when I tried to use it so I played around with combinations until one worked, fallnangel77. 77 being the year I was born, 1977. I did create other screen names for other sites but soon discovered that it could get rather confusing having many different names so I standardized my screen name so that everytime I make one I just use this one. I stuck with this one because it is the name that is on my main email account. I have thought about changing my screen name but it seems too much of a hassle, plus the name seems to always fit me even if the meaning behind it is always changing.

My real name is Murray...good old Australian nickname for Murray is Muzza...I got it early in life and it has stuck. I answer to Muzza more than Murray nowdays!

BTW, football = aussie rules!

Mine's pretty stupid, but I've had it forever, so it stays.

Originally:

kifyre = ki + fyre

ki = chi, qi, prana, etc.

fyre = fire

It was never supposed to vocalized. Now it's just a string of characters that represents me. I'm kinda fond of it.

I have always wonderd about your name David- fun to get an answer!

Well, I have called myselfe Distant bell for quite a while on the net.
I originally came up with the idea when I used to hang on an daoistic
forum.. I wanted a name that fitted my two main interests... religion/spirituality, and wierd slow moving ambient music.
So I got this image in my head of a monastery (probably eastern) lying
on some clouded hill top in the fog in the distance.. And I could almoust hear the sound of the monastery bells chiming through the fog... and I loved this image so much! So I tried to sumarise it up in my name..
So I guess one could say that the name came to me through my subconsious...
I really love it- I hope that it gives that kind of feeling to people who see it-
.. but it could probably be interpreted in different ways to...

so now you know..

Neat to hear all of ya stories, cainam - I just the other discovered your name backwards became maniac, didn´t wanna ask if it was only a coincident though, reckon you figured out why ;)   So David, when will we have the pleasure (?) seeing you in the Green Bay custome, playing for the super bowl??

Fallnangel77, pleazed to hear you aren´t attracted to devil worship, I was a bit worried about you for a while mate...      just kidding....   about "77", I though you were a Paul Coffey fan..... but then again, I relate most numbers with sport individuals...  *sigh*

Murray, when you said "football = aussie rules", can you elaborate on that??
It just sounded very alien to my ears ;)

kifyre, haa! wouldn´t you know, I had yours figured out actually!!  I put the pieces together some time ago, of course I didn´t knew then but still, one point to me...

quote; (why cant I use the quote button any longer? bugger) "So I got this image in my head of a monastery (probably eastern) lying
on some clouded hill top in the fog in the distance.. And I could almoust hear the sound of the monastery bells chiming through the fog... "

I can picture the monastery in front of my eyes, it´s in a big wood area with a view of the clear blue ocean, far from civilization as we know it, right?
Sounds like somewhere I could imagine living....

I am one of the few who hasn´t got any story about any screen name, I just plain and simple stole mine outta a movie, being "TPM", sorry MR. Lucas...

Qui-Gon Jinn,

Aussie rules....or 'no rules' as some call it is a brand a football played in Australia. One of the greatest sports in the world but I may be more than a little biased! :)

American Football, Soccer, Rugby.......Is there anything else that is labled as football?

Does any one have any other different names for sports?

I didn't say Rugby because it isn't Rugby! It is a brand of football played pretty much only in Australia. The official name is Australian Rules Football and only really shares the shape of the ball with Rugby.

It can probably be described as a cross between soccer, rugby and gaelic football. It is fast and tough and well worth watching. If you ever head on down to Australia I'll take you to a game!

Moving to AUSTRALIA??  David, David, David....   you obviously haven´t heard about the huntsmen..  it is a big slimy spider, who crawls all through the country, and it jumps people!!  David, a large spider making a run at people and jumps at them.....   AND, they have black widows there!!!!  AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAaaaaAAaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1    ;)
Otherwise, I think Australia is a top place to move...    once the huntsmen are out of the game that is, I wonder how Mobius setting ´em on fire tactic is going...      that rugby type of game sounds a bit weird though Muzza..  ;)

But David, perhaps Teneriffe could be an option?  I´m thinking of moving there actually, and perhaps I´ll have Distant Bell alongside with me...

ummmm......
I was hoping you wouldn't ask!
But since you did - I got my name years ago when I first started going on the the net and especially when I started playing multiplayer first person shooter games (action quake 2 online rulezzz!!!!!!!!!), it has always been my screen name.
I actually got it from encyclopedea mythica - www.pantheon.org where it says "An evil Basque spirit of the night who strangles people in their sleep."

It was never intended for places like the psychic defence forum!!!!! So it is a bit inappropriate I suppose, but I have been using it for sooo long I can't turn back now! Still, I kinda like it, though it is occasionally confused with Iguana . I guess I selected it because it ran with the hidden darker streak within me' head. I am a really nice guy in person and genuinly but I suppose there has always been a pushing towards the darker side segmented away somewhere. And so I thought it was cool.

and as for football - doesn't the name mean anything to you people????!!!!huh???!!!?? THINK!!! - Foot+Ball = football!!!! How did it all manage to go so wrong????

Don Distante, I checked out a few sites about Teneriffe last night, man they have THE climate over there...  very seldom they have the unpleasant warmth, and very seldom any cold, if at all...  the middle tempratures was in the summer around 26-29, and on the winters not lower than 21, holy smokes!!!

I am talking degree Celcius here, not Fahrenheit...    and the ocean temp., not below 18 in the winters.....    and still, they have snow up in the mountains...   I´m going packing now!!   What do you say, from this weekend on we put in 5$´s each on the football games, and if we win over 1000$´s we share, if we win more than 10000$´s, obviously destiny want us to move to Teneriffe (just need to get rid of my apartment in Kalmar, but that´ll go quick..).....     what do you say, are you up for it??
Isn´t it enough living in cold Sweden for as long as we h ave?´  Hell I am really starting to think about this to be honest!!  Perhaps I´ll take some spanish lesson soon, they apparently have beginner lessons here in the city so...

   Take care //Qui-Gon

I got my name in a very different way than the usual. I started to get interested in psychic healing a few years back, and during a search i came across a site that taught how to create a "Psi Ball". I had tried several times to do it, but failed miserably. Finally one day, while trying, i was hit by an extreme pressure between my hands, and it kind of bothered me. It finally quit, and I REALLY interested in it from that day foward. WellI learneed a bit of healing technique, and i got pretty good. Practicing it one day, I saw a spark between my hands, and I felt a static type feeling between my hands. It was a "shock" so to speak. I went with Psi alone here on the Astral Pulse, but my real screen name elsewhere is PsiShock. Psi also comes from Psionic. Well my email is PsiShock101@aol.com if you want to email me over somethen :-)

I guess for the sake of an initiation type thing, I'll post here as I've just signed up.  My alias comes from an online game I used to play, Gemstone 3 (some of you might know it...hehe), where he is a Level 8 Dark Elven Sorcerer (he wasn't always level 8, there was a time when he was level 7...but we won't get into that...).  As you can see, I don't spend much time in there, but it's fun to kick back and be someone else...*swoon*.  Anyhoo...it comes from me wanting to have a name that impled sorcerer, but didn't say it right out

S o r c e r e r
E R A N O S  S E R O R A N (actually, the original surname was Ceroran, but elven names shouldn't have hard consonants, your Ks, Ts, Ds, etc., so it became Seroran.  The Ns came in out of necessity)  It kinda makes sense.  To me.  When I've had my daily dose of 4X....j/k.

So...that's about it, I'll finish now.

Post by: kakkarot on May 26, 2002, 15:51:48
wow most of you have some interesting was of how you came up with your names.

well i have a few psuedonyms, so i will tell about ALL of them:

kakkarot - stole off Dragon Ball Z. actually if you read my post about my personalities, kakkarot is the name of my martial artist side

talis - just came to me, but at the time i came up with it i was reading some dragonlance books with a character named Tanis Half-Elven, so my subconscious could have just manipulated it to become talis :)

Arcanum Arcanorum - i wanted a name to portray my other personality, the naturstic one, so i got out a latin book and started looking through it. i found some other interesting ones like "ignus fatuus" which means foolish fire :) . but i finally settled on this one because it means Secret of Secrets, which i am to all my family and most of the people i know ;) .

b0b - this one comes from a character i used to play in one of my friends rpg's that he created himself. the character was originally name Master Corporal Bob, but i changed it later to just b0b to make it stand out. the character was memorable because almost every session we played he died AT LEAST once. the GM was a huge jerk about killing people off, but luckily mine was revived each time.

and those are all the names you might see me as.

There are some really interesting names here

My name is nothing as interesting as some I have read. I chose my name after many years of astral travelling. When I had to pick a name for my business I thought for ages to find a name that fit. Eventually I settled on Astral Connections, it just sounded nice to my ears. As an astrologer it was also relevant to what I was practicing as well, sort of fitted two streams of my life, one inner and one outer.

Ryno your post gave me a "great big happy". It reminds me of an old tibetan buddhist saying, something along the lines of  "If you find yourself living as a cow,  then just enjoy the taste of grass." Not comparing you to a cow, more like a human who just accepts themself and enjoys their life with no worry as to what the rest of the herd thinks. You could have taken the nose issue personally but you used it for growth instead not to mention that Ryno is a groovy sounding nick.

I like your button, David. I had one for a while, "Mental health is overrated."

Actually I occasionally consider going by Zaphod. It would avoid occasional sexist stereotypes (though it might start others).  Also, the bit about two heads and ruling my own universe is pretty much right on. And the total perspective vortex? Big whoop.

But then I just decide to keep it simple. Keep it open. I'm Patty. Take me or leave me, I don't care.

Neat to learn about all the name origins, and Inguma ---- YOU INVADED MY DREAMS LAST NIGHT GRRRRR!!!  I was dwelling on Robert's interview pre-sleep and the idea of negative entities, etc - had a yucky dream that I was pulling a rusty pin out of my head and then your face started flashing in the dream (the picture on the website).  So, you really are an evil basque creature that bothers people at night. Hey, all.

Funny how some of these come to be. Mine is because of my birthday. And when I was first told about this site, I was (still am) in a struggle with some bad people. I wanted a little hesitation before somebody started messing around again. You know, ceasers prophecy "beware the Ides of March". I was 2 months premature to make that day, and almost died.

My only nickname that survived was "wildman", but I have mellowed a lot from those days, and have seen it around to much. Not exactly the image I want to project anymore.

Take care all

Mine comes from a sword fighting class that I take. 15th century broadsword. No it's not the SCA for any who were wondering. Everyone in the class recieves a fighting name that they are known by in the clan, and I requested something with a cat in it. I am very much a cat person. Some will tell you I'm a human cat. I used go by Tigeress, but Tiger had been taken, so I was given Silent Panther, and I modified the spelling. The oddest thing is that the new spelling matches my name numerology wise. But anyway, that's the story of my name. I use it pretty much everywhere, and I haven't ever seen it used by anyone else, so I think I've got this one covered.

ok heres where mine came from,
When I was introduced to the web.I found a chatroom. And I made many, many  friends. It changed me around.I found real friends that I could always count on.And everything was good.It didnt matter how much I thought my real life sucked.I was happy and all the bad people around me in real life,It was like they werent even there anymore. This was when I used alfalfa.lol.I was always getting banned for sticking up for people so I had to make new ones..So came alpha. And the other ones all contained alph.So that way everyone knew it was me.

But I was way too innocent. This was like the first time for me that I was  really close to people. It lasted awhile. But eventually it went bad,I had a whole barage of evil names for a little longer.Eventually I couldnt take it anymore and every little lie and anything else that hurt me.I would send another friend off.Till I had noone again.

But I learned a thing or 2.And now  I dont get bothered by bad things people do anymore. And I dont blame myself or them.I still have a few  of there emails and I write them now and than But I still wish I knew where the rest of them have gone.. Now all I can do is hope they remember the real me.Just like I remember them.

.I feel just like I did than, even better..I guess im a little wiser now.I didnt really think much about it.When I signed up here.I was eager to share my obes' with you guys. But I guess there was something there to make me use it again...

This is an old thread, and why not, lets post! Mirador means 'looker' in Spanish. Its kind of like 'seer' which is what I am, actually. I'm also a 'hearer' and a 'feeler', and maybe a 'smeller' and even a 'taster' (aren't we all?)  Some people know me only by that name, and I dont really like it, and others have more endearment names for me, like from my childhood, and even other call me 'Gringo' (I guess because of my light skin and blue eyes in a black and mestizo country), which I hate, because I'm not very atuned with the U.S. culture. I 'see' 'dead people' (whatever they are), and 'indians' (they hang around certain places where there's water), and beings that are so frightfully different from us that I can say they are not organic or biological in nature. I also get to 'see' biological beings who have learned to trick us so they seem invisible or take the form of a familiar animal. These are very tricky, since they seem to synchronize first directly with your brain activity and not your senses, and I still havent been able to catch one. They've done some mean job with goats around here.

I do like it though. I think there have only been a few nicknames i have liked, which i have used on other message boards: The Magical Flying Peanut (i have no idea about this one), The Eagle (from Carlos Castaneda book of same name), and The Charitable Murderer (not sure about this one either). There are some other names I'd like to use too, but either they didn't quite fit the Astral Pulse 'feel', or the name was just too attached to the original character I played.

a)  The misspelling - I never liked the way squeak was spelled in the first place.  And, there is a character in a Garfield book with the name of "Squeek".  He was the cutest mouse ever (Garfield steps on him, he goes "squeek", and Garfield names him Squeek)

b)  The mouse - When I was a Freshman in HS (3 long years ago...) A Junior on the bus said, "Hey Mike!  Your new nickname is "Squeek", because you look like a mouse.  He thought it was funny, but it was in reality the start of my dynasty :D

c)  The avatar - Take a guess.  It's about comedy in the form of irony.  You see the caption of "Pothead", and think of drugs.  But then you see this cool little dude who has a pot on his head. Ironic.  Funny.  Yea.

So there ya go.  I finally replied to a year-old post.

Lysear is just a character from favourite author, Janny wurts. Her lysear is spelt lysaer, I like to pretend sometimes that the typo was intentional but unfortunately it is not, I missspelt it and it stuck!!! so everyone read "the curse of the mistwraith" by Janny wurts.

I enjoyed traveling and exploring in the past, though I don't get to do much now, and I'd like to do more astral traveling and exploring. Traveler fit better than explorer or adventurer and it just sounds good to me.

My real internet alias is Link's Shadow, but since I could not sign up with an ' in my name I had to take it out.  I love to play video games mainly Nintendo games, and well one of my favorite games series is Zelda and the main character in those games is Link, so that gives you the first part of my name.  The I had to come up with something to go after it considering how many people around the world must have the screen name of Link, so I started thinking, "Hey, I have played everyone of the Zelda games and followed Link on every one of his adventures."  So I thought to myself what follows me Link where ever he goes other than me.  Then it hit me, his shadow.  Put that together and you get my name.  I am Link's Shadow.

Lysear,

Yes, Lysaer had the powers of light, and his brother Asandir had the powers of shadow. I never read any of the series past Curse of Mistwraith. I figured if Janny Wurts couldn't get any further into the story than she did with one decent sized book, I wasn't going to attempt the others. Besides, when I finished reading it David Eddings' Redemption of Althalus became available to me and I forgot all about Mistwraith.

James.

P.S.
I don't think I'll bother explaining my screen name.[:)]

I'm one of those "anime freaks".  Not particularly a freak actually, I just happen to really like a few different series' here and there- not like I actually buy/dl every single thing out there and watch it ¬¬ This username comes from the series called "Serial Experiments Lain".  There's a character called Lain in there, the main character- who has "multiple hers".  Bah, confusing anime.  Too much to explain.  Anyway, a friend of mine mentioned how much I acted like both the original Lain and the "wired" Lain, and I guess it just caught on.  I seriously need a new alias though.  It tends to be annoying as a lot of people online like to have that username.  Feh.

Hi guys,

I came up with this name back in 1992 when I was a big video game freak. I originally spelled it "Codemaster", after the video game company, but I thought it looked kinda plain, so I changed the C to a K.

Link's Shadow: Zelda rulez, doesn't it???? The last one I beat was Zelda 64 (Ocarina of Time), cuz the lack of funds in the Jeni department have prevented me from buying the new system. [:(]

I thought your name was a reference to the end boss of Zelda II. [;)]

Thanks to the people that said I'm the coolest.

Links - I thought it was about the shadow link in the Water Temple in Ocarina of time.  That was a hard boss.  He did whatever you did.

kodemaster - I thought yours was from an old magazine I used to read.  I guess not :D

I'm glad this topic was made :X

Post by: Tarconiss on July 13, 2003, 22:36:44
Tarconiss, is one of the few names i came up with out of nowhere. It stuck to me, and i REALLY like the name... i have 3 other names that happen to come up with like that...

The first is Pendragans, wich is my aol name... it WAS supposed to be Pendragon, like.. King Arthur Pendragon.... But it didn't work when i tried to make the name Pendragon..... I eventually ended up with Pendragans..... and for some reason, THAT felt so much more in tune with me, than when i wanted Pendragon.... I've had that name for about 8 years now, and It will always be a part of me...

The next name is Theladius. That name i came up with a few years ago, while thinking for a new character name. It seemed to flow from me, and i had that same feeling of likeing it. Last year after my grandfather died, i helped carry the casket from the funeral home, to to herse, then from the herse to the concreted dug-out.... Only then did i see what his real name was. [He was Born in America i think, but his first language was Polish, and the american translation of his name was Tidus, but everyone called him by 'Teddy'; which is both my fathers name, and im his Jr.] I read on the Tombstone, 'Thadeus'.... When I first saw it, it hit me, and i was awe struck by how close, Theladius, and Thadeus, were...

This next one i dont associate much with, as a by-product of who i am.... but more of a name of a drawing i made, and used my own blood for the color of his eyes. "Dundar", i named him.... One of his main attributes was that he could speak and read ANY language that has existed, and will exist.

And as for an explanation on Tarconiss.... Well.. I used to have voices up to last summer..... One was male in voice and thought.... the other was female, in voice and thought..... it confused me, atpoints for obvious reasons, about my true self.... So i developed slight multiple personalities and mindsets.... Pendragans became one of them.... and another was Tarconiss... Two products of the good and experienced part of my essence.... The voices ended up developing conciousness's of thier own after the first 3 months of them starting..... and thats what led to my internal identity splits, because of haveing 3 objective thought patterns, being attached to my self..... Me... the other guy... and the female... I've stated thier names in a different thread.... but if anyone is interested, i'll talk about the 'voices' and the story they created through me.....

Of the names i have come up with.... This is a full name, of the names i've come across, and that i feel comfortable, associateing myself with being called this;  Tarconiss Theladius Pendragans.

Oh well... nice chunk of your life taken up, wouldn't you agree?... heh...

Squeek,

I am glade you like the topic....."I love you man."

Tarconiss,

That is very interesting how the name you picked was so close to your grandfathers.  I have had several different names myself but eah but has run it's course and was left behind.  I only use the one now.

One of the things I find interesting, but I don't know if many of you have done it, is looking up names that you have made up in a name dictionary to see if they mean anything.

http://www.behindthename.com

CAINAM was not found in this database. Names that sound similar to CAINAM:
CAINAN (m)   CANAN (f)   CAOIMHÍN (m)   CONAN (m)   KAIMANA (m)   KEENAN (m)   KENAN (m)   KENANIAH (m)   KENINA (f)   KENYON (m)

CAINAN   m   Biblical
Variant of KENAN

KENAN   m   Biblical
Possibly means "possession" in Hebrew. He was a son of Enosh and a great-grandson of Adam in the Old Testament.
---------
NAZIER was not found in this database. Names that sound similar to NAZIER:
NASIR (m)   NASIRA (f)   NAZAIRE (m)   NAZARIO (m)   NIZAR (m)

NASIR   m   Arabic
Means "helper" in Arabic.

NAZAIRE   m   French
French form of Nazarius (see NAZARIO).

NAZARIO   m   Italian, Spanish
Italian and Spanish form of the Late Latin name Nazarius, which meant "from Nazareth". Nazareth was the town in Galilee where Jesus lived.
------

Oddly using this progression a person could assume that Cainam Nazier could mean, a Helper belonging to Nazareth.

Mine .... Bad Moon Rising is a  internet name I have used for years... also I like the song too. I  must have some bad karma debt cause it seems like doom (bad decisions I've made and keep on making)is always near...[:D]

I see a bad moon rising
I see trouble on the way
I see earthquakes and lightnin'
I see bad times today
Don't go 'round tonight
It's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise.
I hear hurricanes a blowin'
I know the end is coming soon
I fear rivers overflowing
I hear the voice for rage and ruin.
Don't go 'round tonight
It's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise.
Hope you got your things together
Hope you are quite prepared to die
Looks like we're in for nasty weather
One eye is taken for an eye.
Don't go 'round tonight
It's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise

In just about EVERY scenario of Tarconiss, it relates to a ruler or some sort of equivilent....

On Tarconiss:

TARCONISS was not found in this database. Names that sound similar to TARCONISS:
TARQUIN (m)   TERESINHA (f)   TEREZINHA (f)   TRAJAN (m)   TRIJNTJE (f)

TARQUIN   m   English
Pronounced: TAR-kwin
From the Roman name Tarquinius which is of unknown meaning, possibly Etruscan in origin. This was the name of two early kings of Rome.

TERESINHA   f   Portuguese
Portuguese pet form of THERESA

THERESA   f   English
Pronounced: te-RAY-sa, te-REE-sa
From the Spanish and Portuguese name Teresa. The meaning is uncertain, but it could be derived from Greek theros "summer", from Greek therizein "to harvest", or from the name of the Greek island of Thera (the main island of Santorini). A famous bearer was Maria Theresa, an Austrian Habsburg queen of the 18th century. She inherited the domains of her father, Charles VI, the Holy Roman Emperor, which began the War of the Austrian Succession.

TEREZINHA   f   Portuguese
Portuguese pet form of THERESA

TRAJAN   m   History
Pronounced: TRAY-jan
From the Roman cognomen Trajanus, which is of unknown meaning. The Roman emperor Trajan (full name Marcus Ulpius Trajanus) is considered among the most capable men to have led the Empire. His military accomplishments include victories over Dacia and Parthia.

TRIJNTJE   f   Dutch
Dutch pet form of KATRIJN

KATRIJN   f   Dutch
Dutch form of KATHERINE

KATHERINE   f   English
Pronounced: KATH-u-rin, KATH-rin
From the Greek name Aikaterine. The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name Hekaterine, which came from hekateros "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek aikia "torture"; or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". The Romans falsely derived it from Greek katharos "pure" and changed their spelling from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this. The name belonged to a 4th-century saint and martyr from Alexandria who was tortured on the famous Catherine wheel. This name was also borne by two empresses of Russia, including Catherine the Great, and by three of Henry VIII's wives.

For Theladius:

THELADIUS was not found in this database

[and sadly no relating names.... ]

For Pendragans:

PANDORA (f)   PANTHER (m)   PANTHERAS (m)

PANDORA   f   Greek Mythology
Pronounced: pan-DOR-a
Means "all gifts", derived from a combination of Greek pan "all" and doron "gift". In Greek mythology Pandora was the first mortal woman. Zeus gave her a box containing all of the troubles and ills that mankind now knows, and told her not to open it. Unfortunately her curiosity got the best of her and she opened it, unleashing the evil spirits into the world.

PANTHER   m   Judeo-Christian Legend
Ancient Greek name meaning "panther" (which is ultimately derived from the Greek elements pan "all" and theran "to hunt").

So I was wondering were some of you get your screen names?
For instance, Inguma, Tir13, Distant Bell, Blue Light Mystic, kifyre and the list continues.

Me personally there are two parts.

Cainam (pronounced cain-am) or I used to write it this way, cainaM.  Any way, it is Maniac backwards.  When I was in highschool I played football (american football for all you people who call Soccer, football. And yes I know we are the wierd ones.)  A couple of the guys were really big on having nicknames and one of them started calling me Maniac.  But it did not fit very well.  This being because I was not a maniac on the field but rather I was calm, I had some what of a plotted evil to me. (I only cheated a little, and only got caught once.)  Since I was not the raving lunatic that the name suggested they started calling the Cainam.  Which was a way saying I was just as crazy but with a more diabolical intelligence.
I then almost pulled Nazier out of the air.  (Pronouced with a long "z". not a "ts" sound.)  I had not heard the name prior and it sounded good, so I put thm together.  But you have know idea how many people use cainam and nazier for handles.  But I have not run accross any other cainam_nazier's.

Cainam Nazier, There is a method to my madness.
