Where is the power for healing and awake the deads

Maybe death was the best thing for her. I know that judaism teaches us to preserve life, but I think if you are in terrible pain, it's better to just pass on.

perhaps it refers to those who are dead or asleep from the light, from love, from conciouness...not literally dead. as it is, when we sign up to come here, we all know there is a time limit if we chose to come here in a human body, or any other earthly vehicle. these bodies have to die sometime. ???hhhhm.A.

oh btw...the power to heal is very natural, in or out of our bodies. literally and spiritually. to heal someone from darkness, (raise from a spiritual death), or heal a physical pain. it happens all the time! that's what many people are working so hard to do...heal the world, and everything in it... A.

I don´t know if God is real or not real, but with Budhism i learned that there is no need to believe in any God. One day, when i was very lucid and with my mind awake (in a budhist way, not awake like if i was sleeping) i realise that we are God, each one of us. We are God, and One and all the same. Like fingers in an hand, that think "I´m the ring-finger" and "And i´m the thumb", they are fingers indeed, but more than that they are The Hand, One Hand. Or if you prefer, like the drops from the ocean: the little drops "think" that they are "myself" or "i´m the drop nº1, and you nº2". They are not completly wrong, but more than singular drops, they are One, they are all the Ocean.

When i fully understand that i won´t need to understand it anymore, since i will recognize myself not as single drop but like a deep and vast Ocean. Maybe it was that that happened to Jesus: he recognized himself as being the Ocean and not the single drop. And believe me that when you are an entire ocean you are much more stronger than a drop. That´s the source of Jesus power and capacity for making miracles. That´s the same power that Budha had: Yahve or "I am".

There is no need to believe in God: we are God.

From what i readed here, many people believe in Jesus and believe that is the savior and is has made miracles when he was among us.

So, if you think that, you must believe in what he sayed too. And there is something that he sayed that makes me confuse: "And if you believe in me and believe that i´m the Son of God, you will have the power to heal the livings, awake the deads, speak others tongues [etc,etc]". This is my translation and i don´t remember in wich part of the bible is that hidden. In other words, Jesus sayed that if you have faith you can make miracles.

So my question is very simples: since there are millions of people believing in God, why don´t we see persons make the deads walk again, or making the blind to see, etc? I remember that there was a time in wich i really believed on that, and i was never able to make anything...One day, the mother of a friend of mine was very sick. No one knew what was her problem, she was in a bad and almost she ceased to make anything, even move (i´m still thinking in what could it be). After knowing the situation, i prayed for God with all faith of the world. I believed that in name of God she was gonna to be healed, that Jeses have that power, etc, etc. In the nest day when i went to school, the first thing that my collegues sayed were: "J. mothers died!". I was shocked! I believed in God with all my strenghts and asked for a simple healing, and God gave me the death!

Since them i don´t believe in miracles anymore...at least from God (the Bible God). It was in that time that i turned my attention to Budhism, since there is no need to believe in God or miracles; since for Budhists you are what you are and the power to change the world it´s in our hands and heart.

What do you say about the fact that there are no people healing and making miracles, even if they still believe in Jesus?

BTW: i´m not a completly desbeliefer: i remember a time in wich i readed that when Holy Spirit comes over someone, the earth shakens. One day i was really feeling that i need to purify my spirit: after praying to Jesus, i started to forgive everybody that i knew for there sins. Even my enemys. I was feeling very pure when doing that, forgiving my enemys and developing a deep feeling of love with every being. At the end of the pray i sayed: "God, now you can feel my body and spirit with the Holy Spirit.". I felt myself strange and very purified as i never was. Almost imediatly of saying that, my family was scared because of a small earthquake begun in that moment! Maybe it was just a coincidence...who knows!
