Hi all,
I've had a couple of brief projections over the years, and I've had LOTS of near OOBES where I get to the vibrational state.
During this state I've heard music, 10 radio stations at the same time, talking, pops, etc. All of which I've read about and are quite common.
One thing I am curious about, several times, while in the borderline state, my physical vision and what I can only describe as 'astral vision' are overlapped and I see round 'orbs' about a foot in diameter. The first one I saw was green in colour and had many intricate filiments that glowed, it was hovering and slightly rotating to the side of my bed. I didn't find it alarming at all, just starred at it. Seen a few other like this too, one recent one was a black sphere displaying people faces in quick sucession, too quick to recognise anyone. As I start to wake up, they just fade away.
Anyone any idea what these are?

Maybe things from a "half" Astral plane. (We still don't understand how the Astral works, we know some, but not all.) What I mean by "half," think of Anubis, from the Star Gate SG-1 series.
He was "half" ascended, and the orbs you described may be some form of being that is "half" in and out of the Astral. (maybe Mental and Astral?)

Considering that you were in the borderline state I would call these hypnagogic hallucinations....which are a good thing.
