Hiya
Can you just 'know' something is going happen? or is it just coincidence? eg my friend texts me early in the mornings when hes on shift at either 5am or 6am. Its not a set time but yesterday he was on at 5 and I woke up just before I got his text, as if I 'knew' his text was on its way. I've done this many times. Can you have a '6th' sense?
Better yet, does one sense something because it's about to happen or does something happen as a result of one sensing it?

Liking that idea - and who knows eh?
Hi Ange,
Its common, there's some who have had this happen all their life. It's something we all possess, actually its more common in females.
As you progress spiritually it gets stronger and can help in many ways. When a decision needs to be made you instinctively know what direction to persue.

I dont believe in coincidences and YES knowing something is going to happen is completely possible. Its just a natural part of our intuition and can be developed :-)

Ditto, what was said here by Majour Ka! :-) I always joke to my better half Mary Jo here that my "spider sense" is tingling when I feel something about to happen. Lately, it's my spine that has been tingling or ringing like a bell all day and night, but I'll save that for story for another day!
There are hardly coincidences. I constantly wake up a minute before the alarm goes off (I am grateful because who likes to be unpleasantly startled). I know many people who do this too who aren't big on new age beliefs. Everyone has psychic ability as corny as that sounds. Actually the term psychic is pretty lame, I prefer to consider the fact that some of us are more tuned into what's happening around us. Try not to think of it as past, present, future. We are only in the here and now.

What you are describing now is known as your "internal clock" and everyone has one. This is perfectly normal. Just another thing that you can "train" your consciousness to do with practice. :-)

Yeah, that's a good one :)! I think it can happen both ways.
I am kinda telepathically connected to my mother. Even though I live miles away from home, she always senses my thoughts about what I want to buy, cook, change about my room or about when I go gome, or almost anything in my life in general . On the other hand, I am tuned to my sister. For example, when she is knocking on my door, I can tell that she is going to ask me to buy her a pair of black stockings. And so on. She is always shocked about the fact that I was seeing it coming .)...
