Your video scares the *bleep* out of me. It's completely awesome though lol.
How to induce an Out Of Body Experience - part 1 - Sleep Paralysis
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-9hETPjJlo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-9hETPjJlo)
Yeah.. haha... Thanks.
It's so old though.
It's amazing how there is a slight split on who thinks the imagery is 'out of order' and those who totally agree.
"i dont wanna go to sleep after that friggin scare fest. sleep paralysis is scary enough without accidentally conjuring up a friggin demon that i just seen in your video. thank you, sir/ ma'm"
then
"Useful advise, despite the illustrations being most discouraging. Although there is some method behind it given that one of the disciplines of spirituality is confront your Fears."
"Why why why would you want to experience something like this. I've had sleep paralysis most of my adult life and my mother also had it. This isn't some urban legend lime bloody Mary in the mirror. It's real, it's scary."
"This is hilarious. A video advising you how to do something accompanied by images so blood freezingly scary that nobody in their right mind would want to touch it with a 10 foot pole. What is the objective here? Put off people who might find it too much?"
"Very bad introduction to OBEs, this vid wrongfully gives a very creepy mood. I apologize to anyone new to this.
This vid failed when showed "The sleeping hag" picture concepts. True OBE'ers describe this phase as simply "heaviness".
You DO NOT HEAR ANY OF THE NOISES (weird moaning, etc) other than TV static/buzzing/vibration.
Astral projection/OBEs are not scary or this complex to do, lets have a refresher"
A nice reply to this was...
"not everyone gets freaked out by these presences BUT complaining about his representations of OOBE's tells me 1 of 2 things either you never truely experienced this or you experiences were genuinely plesant..either way it can be overwhelming"
I'm slowly making an up-to-date version using animation and a bit of humour.
Try having your scary character dancing the "chacha", lol. That would take the "fear factor" away!
Good on you Lionheart. You try to make a negative turn into a positive. Great for thinking that.

in next video just tell that OOBEs are full of beautiful women and all the dudes will catapult themselves into astral in no time. :-D

HAHA! yeah.
Or I could re-edit the video and replace all the 'Hags' with people like Brad Pit... Mila Kunis... Frank Sinatra, Madonna and C3PO.

C3PO lmao
Thinking about it, if Brad Pitt is as intensely douchey as he was in the new Channel no.5 commercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGs4CjeJiJQ) he might just be scarier than any ghoul imaginable :-D
Oh my word!!
That is weird.
It's like he's trying to remember his lines... that or the weird lighting is making him feel nauseous.
 I vaguely recollect some mythology that I think match up with those images, regarding sleep paralyses. Still, was a bit of an eerie video, cool though. :-D
The old hag... the Night-mare... the incubus and succubus maybe?
I think we can add 'alien abduction' to that list. Not all alien abduction. Just the type that takes place in the bedroom and has exactly the same 'phenomenology' of SP.
SP doesn't account for missing time and people who claim to be 'taken' while driving their car.
Yeah, incubus & succubus was what I had in mind.
What could account for one off missing time experiences though? I'm curious because I lost an hour & half while on a train & still haven't a clue what happened, though am reluctant to jump to alien train abduction... :P I would of put it down to falling asleep, but I was like 2 stops from my intended station then I can't remember anything in the middle, & the next thing I know I'm stepping off the train at my intended stop, except I'm stepping off on the wrong platform, I should have been on the opposite side, so I had got off a train that was actually heading in the wrong direction, towards where I had originally came from, with about an hour & an half missing give or take 10 minutes.
Is that a weird thing to happen? or do things like that just happen sometimes?
Oh... that reminds me of when Kathryn and I were traveling home from the north of england one christmas. We both use Leeds and Sheffield as a half way mark when traveling home from Middlesbrough.
Driving along...about 40 miles out of Mbro going past York... about 3pm... and Kath said to me referring to a lorry driver "what's he doing coming up my arse?"
I must point out that her unfortunate use of language although sounding somewhat lewd actually translates as "What is that person doing driving so close to the rear of my car"
I looked in the wing mirror and the bright lights of a lorry on a very busy motorway were glaringly close... I sort of shrugged it off.
A few minutes later Kath said she felt a bit weird and that she needed to pull into the next service station. The next sign said 'Nottingham service station'.... This gets very weird.
Kath was still feeling shaky and I was feeling something wasn't quite right. At first it dawned on us that it was quite dark outside and the traffic wasn't as heavy as before. The next thing that dawned on me was that Nottingham is way past Sheffield. I remember this distinctly... I asked...
"Where's Sheffield gone?"
Kath added "and Leeds"
Basically we missed out about 40 miles...
Luckily kathryn always clocked the mileage from Boro to Bray... and noted that the car had also lost 40 miles off the 250 miles that it should take.

You should be the soundtrack director for children's shows, Bedeekin...
I forgot to mention something. I watched these videos about a week ago. And they seriously set me back. :-D The info was great. But man the imagery...
Anyways, that same night, I woke in the physical while I was in SP and it was 1998 all over again. I even prayed to Jesus for the first time in a long time. Granted, it worked but I also quickly realized after the initial rookie mistake (I've been enjoying SP for years) of panicking what was actually happening.
I'm in no way trying to discount the power of prayer or Christianity. I always reserve the right to repent and beg for forgiveness should I begin to feel different.
For me this was a humorous experience after the initial fear and I quickly went back to sleep.

I know... it's weird. I didn't think anything of it when I put it together. I was sort of wanting to appeal to those who 'suffered' from SP as well as giving a 'No BS' portrayal of what it is commonly like.
I'm glad it helped... in some way. haha

We all have to respect that. People would have been more upset if they were expecting peace and tranquility with pleasant imagery and then had the real experience of what most of us encounter during SP. You can't win for losing on this one.
I know.
The subscribers and 'likes' make all the difference.
maybe it will be enough to reedit old videos and replace all faces with smileys :D
I personally enjoyed the video. I thought it was spot on. Although I wasn't prepared for all the comments that came after. I literally laughed out loud. I see all points of views though. Thanks for the chuckle!
Funny aren't they. Right across the board in terms of peoples opinions. You have the 'light worker' types tutting and shaking their heads... the SP sufferers saying 'right on'.. .the newbies saying 'ghaaaah you're scaring me' and the odd religious type saying what they say.
I've been purposly trying to get myself to be aware of SP while I'm in it. Usually I don't have any memory of it. Last night was pretty neat... out of no where I felt like something did a belly flop on my chest. It made me start giggling, hehe. No monsters, though.
Holy Hell. That was flipping terrifying. :-o
I was about to go log off and project but idk now. lol :-D
"You will hear strange sounds, much like the ones on this soundtrack" - hilarious.
Resident Evil games should be taking tips from you.

cool... haha... but look at the comments!!!
Well I am putting together a PM for all my subscribers on YouTube to send me ideas for what they would like to see in an OOBE video.film/documentary.. then I am going to get together with a few (talented) friends and make something that can maybe be a bit more than a YouTube video... something that can maybe go to the film festivals.
That sounds exciting!!! :D
^ go for it.
Actually... bugger it.. I'll ask here also. :)
Another thing that gets me are the people who say... "The music is freaky and will scare people"
well... here are others who think differently...
