That happens to your vessel, your physical body. You are done with it now, so you don't need it anymore.

You were never in it to begin with!

Hm, that might be a question for a lawyer forum.
I'm interested in how they'd respond to the post "Where do we go when we die?"

There is a life after death that is called Afterlife. We can communicate with our loved ones after death but we have to learn that how can we communicate with our loved ones and they also have to learn the same. Here is a thread which related to Afterlife : http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_chat/the_path_afterlife_2009_documentary_does_anybody_have_that_dvd-t39370.0.html  And this movie helps you to understand the life after death.

Your soul and body are two different things .  I think most places would only do an autopsy if there was a question about the death , and I think some religions do not want autopsies .  On the soul and an after life , I think that is part of the what this forum is all about .  Many people that have had a N.D.E. have scene dead love ones .  In all or many places you can have what is called a D.N.R. , do not resuscitate , I think you could have a "no autopsy " form , but lets say some one killed me , I would want the police to be able to find out who , why , and put them in jail .  I dont know if you ever watched the t.v. show Quincy , but that was what Jack Klugman did on that show .  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quincy,_M.E.       desert rat

In most cases you have the option to be buried or cremated. Like desert-rat said, an autopsy is only performed if the cause of death is a mystery. Autopsies cost money and they'll only do it if absolutely necessary. But that's just what happens when your body dies, you on the other hand will be fine and dandy in another area of consciousness, and you probably won't even consider what's going on with your old body.

Autopsy is new for me too. Your body just gets trimmed a little for the burial by the morticians, unless you get cremated.

As regards afterlife: watch the movie already recommended above or read Michael Newton's books (http://www.spiritualregression.org/), read the Dolores Cannon book "Between Death & Life", read Monroe's books, read Kurt Leland's books, read Bruce Moen's books, then also watch Tom Campbell's videos when he talks about this topic (but don't read his books   :-P) )

yes just today i spoke with my father and he said the same which is obviously reasonable lol my broke state
but even so what really happens i mean i know ever death i unique but i always grew up with some kind a respect for the deceased
sorry what really got me thinking about this was an ugly thought in which i thought about my love dieing in a murder or for any reason any i was in a dark place just thinking negative really and i was just putting all the negative in it like what if she was just murder something so then i thought about what the legal process would be and how much it was just revolting the in-sensitivity i guess, it made my stomach turn, but on a positive note thats why im loving someone who values her own life enough to keep it safe =),

on a more personal note lionheart's post is very true why care about my remains but eh im merely human and i just want certain things just tradition really, having a govern agency handling your body as a variable changes my view and most likely i would love to be buried maybe even naked under a willow tree and hopefully someone i love can share (and then someone will just tear the tree down along with others to build some sort of house or apartments) and the cycle keeps goin =)

I dont know what country you live in but I don't believe we get automatic autopsies, that costs money.

The normal is to be buried or cremated. What do they normally do where you live?

Think about it... if we continue to "bury" empty shells, we'll soon run out of land to "live" on.

I've always considered "burying" dead people as completely ridiculous.
I've told my family that if they waste good land on my empty shell... I'm coming back to haunt them all.  :D

BOO!

Most churches in the uk look like they have sunk into the ground.

It is in fact the ground around it that has risen due to hundreds of years of bodies buried on top of bodies.

If a small parish or village with a church and its generational population calculated over a 5 -600 year period it's quite scary how many bones many uk towns are built upon.

thats crazy and see my father said that it was in those times where we learned that we had to bury our dead in different ways, or not so concentrated in one area because thats how deceases were formed and started to spread
Title: Re: Seriously what happens to us when we die???
Post by: Bedeekin on February 02, 2013, 01:39:30
To spread them about a bit?

That's why a lot of growing villages and towns end up building new estates over existing graves.

Reminds me of the film 'Poltergeist'

The irony is that you (we) don't even have a brain now.  :)

The problem is that you're thinking that the 'you' that is experiencing this physical reality *IS* what you are.  You are not a human.
You have no brain.
You have no body.
There is no reality.

There is only awareness experiencing itself.  That's what you are... awareness.

Oh... I can assure you Xanth has a brain. It's in his skull. It's very real. It's sort of a light to dark beige colour and all wrinkly. If you removed it.. to us he would cease to exist in this reality as Xanth... we would be left with a decomposing lump of cerebral matter that would rot faster than every other organ he has. he however wouldn't cease to exist from his Point of View.

Why? Because the brain is just an operating metaphor that exists in this simulated reality so that he can be an avatar like the rest of us... who are coincidentally in the same situation.

What's the point of existing?

If we didn't exist in a constrained reality that has others to interact with in a 'real' way.. we wouldn't learn or evolve as an awareness. The point of existing is to exist. Imagine if we all just existed as one big amorphous blob of consciousness all at once and all as one. We wouldn't get anywhere.

Now.. split that amorphous blob into minute separately interacting units that have the illusion of individuality. Now you are existing as one unit able to learn from mistakes and experience an existence. The brain can be also seen as a decoding device that allows you to interact with other decoding devices. But these decoding devices are as illusionary as a computer simulated brain would be in a computer game character.

Hope you didn't mind me answering that Xanth.

Answer: Nobody living knows.

We can only make educated guesses based on assumptions.

Here's mine, I'm not dead so I can't say it's at all accurate but from my research and personal experiences this is what I believe to be the most sensible guess.

1) Death causes the pineal gland to dump it's stores of DMT causing a powerful hallucination of leaving the body and having an OBE or NDE. DMT itself might be something akin to the Matrix's blue pill that disrupts the carrier wave in Neo. Having both a biological effect and a spiritual one.

2) The etheric double is located on the RTZ or physical world, attached and feeding off the corpse. Eventually it will run out of energy and the projection will destabilize causing the double to fade away. If the remains are buried this will happen after 3-5 days. Any projection destabilization will cause the double to return to the vicinity of the corpse, but not inside it -- just closer to the source of energy or the silver cord. If the corpse is burned and turned to ash then a massive amount of life force will be instantly absorbed by the double often overloading it and raising it's vibration instantly to a higher astral plane, where it will fade away from the etheric.

3) At this point in either case, eventually when the life force is used up the double will fade away on some level of the astral. The ego blacks out and goes unconscious with the "higher self" at this point taking over. The "higher self" then takes pieces of the former ego as well as former past incarnations ego's and inserts them into a new double which then goes into a new body, the process repeats it self.

Some rare things can happen along the way. If the newly disincarnate ego double learns how to draw energy off of the living or other sources of power then it's possible that it won't "fade out". From this point it can become into many things. But generally it slowly loses pieces of itself over time. It might even forget that it's dead, or on the darker side might become a shadow person from repeatedly feeding off any emotions it can find. And in so few cases that it's not worth mention it may take over another body, assuming in real life it spent years of training in OBEs and other magical practices. Even rarer than all these one who is at one with this "higher self" will choose what he/she wishes to do, it could be to reincarnate again to help others or move on to a different or new energy system.

None of this is dogma, but it's the best guess I can make.

You don't go anywhere.  The imagery around you changes into another version of you, that you already are.  So you merely carry on in another dream, in the very same non-place, sts.  As far as the body goes, it never was physical in the first place, but the illusion of physical reality goes on dreaming that something must be done to the body.

Autopsies are expensive so unless there's a good reason to believe that your body was murdered, etc., they're not going to bother with it.  Your body will be put six feet under, unless you have chosen cremation.  Thankfully, you are not your body.

Seriously. I can't believe you seriously said that.  :?

If the information on the Pulse eventually becomes a dogmatic belief system then this is all for nothing. You just said what every religious zealot has said to me my entire life.

What experience have you had that I haven't that would make you feel like you KNOW there's life after death? I would think that any reason you give me there is also an equally simple scientific reason that has nothing to do with anything mystical. I admit that I tend to believe a lot of mystical things but also realize I'm emotionally invested in this and there COULD be other answers than just the obvious way I perceive things. We are so small and know so little. Science with religion is the only way.

I was kind of kidding when I made that post... I do *KNOW* that consciousness exists after this physical body dies... and to add something, I don't "feel" like I know... I *KNOW* I know.  But as I said, it's a knowing which I have zero proof for beyond the scope of my entire non-physical experience.

How?  Basically, it's the sum of all my experiences and everything I've 'discovered' from my non-physical explorations.

For example, I no longer view this physical reality as being such.  I see this as just another "non-physical" reality... it's a more stable reality because of the many consciousnesses that share in its creation.  That concept, in itself, makes 'death' in this physical reality meaningless.

In any case, I have a much different outlook on this "world" than probably 95%+ of the people here.  It includes the "personal knowing" that there is life continues just fine after this meat popsicle we call a physical body withers and dies.

be it true then does that mean we need a majority people who will never discover or event want to gain more knowledge and truth, to live there happy, ironic, and fixed lives so that it can sustain the massive unsettled frontier of the universe???

Unfortunately yes, 95% of the world right now is very happy with their current mindset. Everyday more and more distractions are created via technology to get people further and further away from opening up their minds to their higher beings.

We at this Forum are very few, with a very small, if not non existent voice.  :-(

Our " MeatPopsicles" were made like this so we can interact with everything in this waking reality. That's the sole purpose, plain and simple.

hehe... Meat Popsicle...

When I was little I was terrified of death. Not really death itself, just the fact that I could fall asleep and never wake up again. Lose all that I know as myself, at least in this life. Miss out on future experiences. Afraid that I will be in pain. Bla bla bla. It would get so bad, I would need to hum to myself until I fell asleep at night because the sound of my own heart beat scared me.

It's still scary. An exciting scary. I still don't like to think too much about it. Meatpopsicle or not. :)

I feel that the powers that be would block this from going public, as in everyone knowing, at all costs.

This would mean that people would start thinking for themselves and breaking away from the control mechanisms that it took them eons to create.

They couldn't have. That would render them powerless and they couldn't allow that to happen.

What are the 'powers that be'?

Do you mean the government?

I like to think they aren't that clued up in matters of conscious awareness. I think money and power is their aim.. and so is a short term gain pursuit and completely laying outside the realms of what we are about.

Yes the many Gov'ts of the World.

At the moment they are too consumed by money and power, but if we had a situation like Enlightnd had mentioned where it became newsworthy and people everywhere were willing to talk about it, then you would see the powers that be react to shut that down. This would likely be done the same way they shut down the UFO topic, by scrutinizing and belittling any Scientist that seriously wished to take on the subject.

Right now, not a chance. That's only in our Dreams!

I reckon it would... and is... pretty much under the radar. It's so beyond their means of control that they possible couldn't hide it under the table.

The difference is.. with UFOs they are fleeting and opportunistic. Nonphysical exploration is instigated by the individual and can be recreated indefinitely.

I hope.. 'hope' being the operative word... that the conscious revolution sweeps the world in a subconscious effort of will and simply can't be stopped by a few dead heads who like to think they are the pinnacle of society.

It's quite evident that the youngsters of today are embracing AP and LD because it is something very akin to the digital revolution of which they are the main cog that drives it.

The Power of Radio, TV, n The Internet thats how you lett people know truths, thats why im thankful to live where i live i can say whatever i want and broadcast on a massive scale if i wanted too,
especially if i keep it clean, problem is when real people discuss real issues they get scared to ask any questions for being ridiculed, we belittles ourselves and as a result over time generaton after generation we've been slowly but surely indoctrinating our children through a government eduction system that produces pupils who later take these offices and screw me over on my tax, n that guy doesnt even know a single thing about sleep!!!!! my bad,

the question is what happens to us when we die and in truth it doesnt matter! point is we all die and as a whole society that puts us on an equal level of competition for knowledge, and we should protect the rights and encourage the right of having the liberty to ask and search, not put u in a corner with a cone hat saying dunce
