Anyone heard of the mind reader Marc Salem? He reads pepple's thoughts by paying attention to the body language so that would be cold reading. What he does it's impressive  :-o
I just dont know how he do it when he is blindfolded.

it's 15 min long clip.
"What are you doing here, Nasrudin? his neighbor asks. "I'm looking for a key which I lost
in the wood?" Nasrudin replies. "Why don't you look for it in the wood?" says the neighbor,
wondering at Nasrudin's folly. "Because there is much more light here"

Thank you for sharing that clip.

I fixed your link. For some reason, the "$" in the URL was throwing off the hyperlink.

Usually when stage magicians do tricks while wearing a blindfold, they can see through the threading of the fabric.

A very very interesting book for those interested in these things is called: '13 Steps to Mentalism' by Corinda. If you do read this, be prepared to have your illusions shattered as you find even the most amazing feats of mindreading/cold reading have their roots in very ordinary and mundane techniques. Such techniques take a long time to master, but they are purely physical.

The question now remains, is it possible that psychic phenomena actualy occurs? are there any true psychics?

I saw the video and was really impressed, so I tried the word game with some friends and was able to tell the word! Ok, we used just 7 words of a sentence that we all could read, so I knew what I had available.

I asked them to visualize the first letter of the word in capitals on my forehead, and instantly with eyes closed I saw a character forming on the center of the darkness. I tried to make the background brighter and saw the letter kinda malformed, but was clear enough to figure out the word they had chosen.

We tried this 4 times, 2 times I saw the letter clear enough to tell what word they were thinking, 1 time I didn't see anything and made a wrong guess, and 1 time I saw the letter very malformed, but from the words we had available I made a right guess.

You all should try this, you'll be surprised to find out that we all can do this!

Thanks very much for sharing this video, I'll start practicing!!

I've had a 95% success-rate with guessing numbers 1-10, and 1-20.

Did you actually see the character? Or was it more like a thought you did not think yourself.

I saw it with eyes closed, like a hypnagogic vision, but much less vibrant, I had no doubt that I was receiving their thought, because it didn't take more than 4 seconds for me to see it and discover the right word.

But then later I asked my mother to choose some words and I didn't see anything and missed all guesses  :|
After some time I felt some pressure on my forehead, saw very faint lines changing shape but couldn't make out anything.

Something I noticed is that, since they projected the letters on my forehead, sometimes I saw them backwards.

Principle, do you receive the thought or you're actually very good at guessing?
