I thought negs were only attracked to you when angry or sad or something along those lines.
I havent been into the astral yet, what do they look like so I will know what to look out for. Are they mean? Whats a good method to make them leave you alone?

Theoreticaly, negs are after energy released by your emotions (fright, anger, love, sex?, etc...).  So, the best defense would be to have no emotions in their presence.  Ignore them as much as you can.  It's not always easy, so you can trick yourself like making fun of the situation; laughtning at them, etc...

Some people fight them with energy/light/magic/religious stuff...  Use whatever makes you feel safe/powerfull/protected.

Just imagine negs as some of those human a$$holes who aggress you and just wait for you to reply so they can start a fight...  Just ignore them and they will try with someone else.

Anyway, what does not kill you makes you stronger... right?

Aries, let me tell you what, you MAY be right, but thats exactly what I thought, but when you litterally see a man standing in your house that youve lived in all your life, your first reaction is, "O excrement, must run" or "can't move, too scared" OR "wheres my partner in PONG?"
just jokoing about the last one, but it is scarey seeing the house your familiar with and someone or "SOMETHING" like a lepreconn(SP?) like in the movie run across the house hallway lol (example being form my own experience) haha

But as far as in the astral I would be expecting to see someone or something.
Kerrblur you have seen a leprechaun?? Thats awesome.. I always wanted to see one. Although if it was the little bastard from the movies I dont think I would like that very much. Can you go into more detail about what happened when you saw him?

For me, it's not much of a fear problem; it's an aggressivity problem.  Too many times, when I become lucid or OBE, someone is there and attacks me.  I am not afraid, but it's not fun either.  I am quite sensitive to aggressivity.  Also, there is the startled aspect of it...  Sometimes it's so fast that you don't have time to think about how to react; how to control the situation...

    Okay details about the things my mind makes up.  Well when I;m in the RTZ(well im in there most of the time, only been to astral planes couple times), my mind tends to automatically think of fearful things, I DONT know why but random thoughts from like horror movies come up and stuff.  You know its the imagination game, the imagination is composed of both good and bad thoughts lol.  watching horror, sci-fi, cartoons, lol all effect that, well mine was the leprachan, I'm down in the basement in my chair, and I have only seen it once, but It all sudden popped in my head and I looked over to the other side of the room, and he was walking up, and, well when someone says they'll beet the crap outa them, well, ask yourself something lol, if this your conscience mind thinking or is it your unconscience mind thinking? lol I base this on science alittle but, My mind doesnt know what the hell to think and every single time I project somehting happens and I (consciencely) tell myself its not scarey but EVERY single time that plan goes straight down the drain hah, kinda like a roller coaster.  You like roller coasters, you like to get on them, but every time when your in line, you got that scarey fealing EVERY time! lol you dunno why, you like riding them but in the lines, your scared senseless. heh bad example rpolly but I made sense to me

Negs are like insects in the way that they always seem to be around. When one becomes more experienced in such things they also become like insects when dealing with them.

As far as the fear thing goes: a lot of people see thier fears play out when they project. It's just one of those things that happens to everyone, eventually.

Aries you sure do put up a lot of questions about negs lately. Well, since knowledge is power I will try to give you as much as I can.

Negatives, as they are called on this site, are like leeches in the Astral realm. They suck up your energy. The physical effect of having one attached to you is depression, anxiety, and feeling tired. They stay on as long as possible. Certain physical actions can get them off.

They come in many shapes and sizes, but can only be seen at a projection level. They are much like insects in the way they think and act, and have no real consciousness of their own. The amount of power each has varies. Some are so weak you cannot notice them in the physical realm, while some are almost as powerfull as a demon (though so rare that you probably will not encounter them in your lifetime.)

I would suggest going to the site connected to this one and try to get some of Robert Bruces books, mainly the one called "Practical Psychic Self Defense." He covers just about everything on negs.

Robert Monroe was attacked by what you are referring to as negs in the RTZ.  According to his first book, visualising two charged wires being put into them helped.  Also, one time he broke down and cried for help, and a helper came and took the negs away.

How did the negs attack Monroe in the rtz?

If I recall correctly, one attack consisted of a marathon fight between Monroe and some figure that just appeared when he projected.  The other time he had encountered some strange rubbery creatures that kept trying to attach themselves to him.

So do Negs activly seek people out? Or do they just kind of run across people?
Is there any other astral creatures that try and activly seek out projectors?

okay Well lol haha I've seen alot of Negs in the RTZ, and all i see is people who look like miserable people but NEVER never never attack me, or 'attach' to me, i dont know if thats just certain people, but make sure you dont get that stupid creative imagine in your head when you try to project that, 'negs will attach to me'. seriously jesus, just think of these things as stupid people who sit in the streets and wait for you to say something to them , for they can yell at you.  ALWAYS ask if there with jesus christ, all that stuff, if they dont say anything or try saying things but NOT what you want, then there negs, if not they might be higher beings or other 'good' entities, my point is, if you dont think (HAHA) there going to attach to you and such your energy out of your body (ridiculous no matter how much info there is about it), then it is not going to happen, EVERY neg i see either talk to me, threaten me, or give threatening gesture towards me, i yell at it, and they mumble away.  Or I run, to come baCK later to beet it.

Sometimes you simply fight off the negs. Sometimes you put a shield up when you are annoyed by them. Sometimes you cannot avoid them and you have to show them a thing or two. In some of the latter situations, I have decided a couple of times to simply go a little overboard to see if they would stop. That is where I learned how to play the following games:

Pong!

Remember the good ol' Atari? Well when you try this in the astral it really puts a new perspective to this game.

I learned to create gates to random places early on. It has helped me though quite a few attacks. When a neg came at me one time I gated it through to this realm of my own creation. I decided to have a little fun with this gate ability. I gated him back out, hit it to send it flying, then gated it back from behind me. I hit it again, and repeated the process. (If you could do this in your physical body this would be a good workout!)[]

You can use the same idea. two people can bat an energy attack back and forth.

That's the only game I can remember, though I know I did more. Can anyone think of anything else?
