I sincerely hope that you find a more fulfilling way to try and help people. I urge you to re-read Tisha's post, because she said something very vaulable better than any of us:
If you sincerely want to share God with other people, live your life quietly with the love of Christ in your heart. Be ever loving and never judging. People WILL see that in you and ask you questions with an open heart. THEN share your love of the gospel with them.
I guess what I am trying to say is that I hope you do not just "give up", but maybe try sharing your love of the Gospel through personal example instead of just words...it will be much more fruitful. May God bless your journey... [:)]

I really don't think Adrian is telling you to leave, just to stop preaching a church thats not empty, but half asleep(if you get my drift) If you want to be a preacher, please feel free, but like my mother(who is catholic) has always told me, don;t push others to be you. I respect the word of god, written by man, but spoken by god. Respect is the best way to go, and telling everyone that they will go to hell, well thats just pre-judgemental. I'm not going to hell, unless god sees it fit for me to(and I hope not, I don't like any heat above 90 :) )

allanon, i don't really want to see you leave. i think that you have much to learn, as we do. you'd be great to talk to if you weren't so overbearing in the whole thing. i know you're capable of talking logically. i think that help can be given both ways.. you to us and us to you.
perhaps it would be good for you to talk to us in detail about your experiences in the astral. it would help us to understand where you are coming from, and perhaps we can help you. i think that's the main missing piece in all of this... what has brought you down this road. your preaching is not going to get through to us, we can't understand where you're coming from because it is so illogical, but maybe we can have a good discussion about your astral & other experiences, and if you want a debate, we can debate over the meanings of your experiences. we need to know YOUR story, not the bible's. once we see YOUR reasons, and not the bible's to embrace jesus, then it will be clearer to us. and who knows, maybe you'll succeed in your goal of converting someone. [;)]

I will not flame you nor will I speak words that may insult or hurt you, as I usual do with persons like you.
In fact, I have learned something from you. I told you I usually flame guys/girls like you... Why? Because I used to think that it is very annoying that some kids kept bumping in on what I believe, what I care about and what I'm interested in.
But you have made me realize that it's actually very nice of you to care about people like me - People who are interested in Astral Projection, Psionics, etc, and I want to thank you for this. You are a loving and caring person. Be proud, there are not many persons like you on this world.
I believe in God as well, but I'm not a 'true' Christian. My beliefs differ from what the Bible tells me to believe (like Heaven.. I don't believe in the Heaven described in the Bible.. I will not explain what I do believe since I don't think any of you is very interested in a long, philosophical story from me).
I do not believe in the Devil, in Lucifer, or, not as the Bible desrcibes them.
You see, if God created everything, he also has created the angel, the now fallen angel, now called the Devil. If something can be created, it also can be 'destroyed', so to speak. I do not believe in the endless 'war' between God and Devil, because God is almighty and there's nobody, not even a fallen angel, that can get close to God's 'might', or whatever you wish to call it. I do not believe in Hell either.. God is loving and cares about us, He loves anyone no matter what, and I will never believe that He is capable of sending people to Hell, with the knowledge that they will burn and be tortured forever and more. Because if He could, He would be no better than the Devil.
Just please realize that believing in something, also creates it. God exists because we believe in Him. The Devil exists too.. Because we believe in him. Maybe not the existance as in how you and I exist, but another kind of existance.. Existance in our mind.. It alters our lifestyle and therefore exists.. I hope you get my point, it is hard to explain. But please remember that you cannot get harmed by something you don't believe in.

I think Allanon is trying to "save" everyone here while everyone responding on his threads are trying to save him. If nothing else every preaching thread he's made so far has gotten multiple page. Beats being ignored.

ALLANON- please realize that a spiritual path is not something you can force upon anyone.it is a long,intensely personal journey.religion is something that only the individual can discover for themselves.everyone is searching for harmony in life,whether their actions reflect it,or not.
please also understand that religion isn't the only path to freedom.
PEOPLE don't call us to a spiritual path.SPIRIT does,and it has many,many,many incarnations[:)]
I have been putting in the Word of God at this forum lately and it has not beared any good fruit that my limited perspective can see. Only God knows. I see your point in that you do not believe in a Perfect God and a Perfect Son. The quote below sums it up.

Once again I must reiterate that I was not here trying to start trouble. The Truth is the Truth and eventually everyone will know it anyways. I just Hope that I can tell Jesus in Heaven that I was responsible for helping turn some people from the dark paths which are many. I won't post any more here but thanks for your inputs and may you find the Way, Truth, and Light.
