Specs of light

Ever since i have started energy rasing and astral projection i have started to get some weird visual effects. This had never happened before i started all this and makes me wonder what exactly it is.

I keep getting regular specs of brightly colored light in my line of sight, which will last a few seconds or until i look at them. They are really small, flash-like colors usually appearing one at a time in the corner of my vision.

I dont know what they are but it gets quite annoying after a while, i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows what it is?

I don't know precisely if you're seeing the same thing, but I, and several members of my psychic development circle have seen the same as what you are describing, and they have been spirit beings.

When you raise energy, your senses start becoming attuned to the higher vibration energies around you, such as the energies of spirits.

Could you also see them with your eyes closed? When it's dark they are especially bright, as i turn my head expecting to see something.

I highly doubt it has anything to do with supernatural. If these spots follow your eye movements, then they are not 'outside' things, they are just random retinal discharge and will go away with a lot of sleep.

They don't follow my eye movements,  i've got pretty good eyesight so i doubt it is anything wrong with them either hehe, although it is possible of course.

Yeah I see these points of light sometimes too, more often at times than others. They seem distinctly brighter and more powerful than the tiny prana types but I wonder if there isn't a relation, still. Either than or otherworldly entities

Sometimes when I turn off the lights in a room when its dark out i will see tracers or colors or SOMETHING flying around for like a SECOND. does anyone else experiance this?

If they are spirit beings, then yes you will be able to see them with eyes closed. They will be working with your powers of visualisation to give you images of what they look like. Development of spirit vision, which is one of the facets of clairvoyance, will allow this.

Do what you're doing - keep meditating and raising energy.
Beyond that look for some books on the subject to help you. I highly recommend Ted Andrews as an author for this kind of development. He's easy to follow, and no-nonsense.

I think you are right it might be spirit beings..
Especially apter raising energy this can become clear..
I don't have the same thing but i have a similar.
What i often tend to get toughs is Feelings that there are spirit beings or other beings around me...
This often also relates to hearing thoughts like there where my own but actually not..

James S do you or people in your circle also see anything when looking into the sky (exc clouds etc hehe)?

I think the lady that leads our circle has on a few occasions, but she's only mentioned it in passing, so I've no details here. I've seen some extremely odd, and seemingly impossible cloud formations, but that's about it.

What kind of things have you noticed?

Oh yeah I forgot - it seems to help if you acknowledge their presence somehow, I usually just say "saw that!". Starting seeing them a lot more for a while after that..

I see flashing white and blue lights (they seem more like stars) flashing through out the day (mostly at night). It doesn't matter whether my eyes are closed or open, and it doesn't have anything to do with the way my eyes are moving. I'm not certain, but I think my higher self uses these stars to make its presence known and to communicate with me. Here are some (I can't list them all) of the reasons I believe so.

1. I was at work one time and I overheard a coworker say something that reflected bad vibes (details not important). I decided to ignore her and continue with my work, but then a star flashed right in front of the document I was reading, and I got the mental message: "meditate and get clear on this issue right now."  I did so, and it was good that I did.
2. On another occasion I was going to read something recreational at work, but then a star flashed right by the pile of work I had to do, and I got the mental message: "do my work first." I did so, and for reasons that aren't worth going into, it was good that I did.
3. One time while at work I was about to start a difficult and stressful project, and a star flashed and I got the mental message: "stay inwardly tuned to inner peace as you work," and I did so.
4. I've had a couple of dreams about my boss. They suggest that I'm in some way spiritually connected to her. The other day I was talking to her and a star flashed on her right side. A little bit later I spoke to her again. She had been experiencing some pinching pains in her lower back. I explained to her how sometimes I'll  feel pain in an area of my body, and when I meditate I find that my kundalini energy is blocked right where the pain its (I said "a subtle energy you feel while meditating" as opposed to kundalini). I also explained that a block and pain will often go away, if I find a psychological issue that is connected to it. As I was saying this a silver star flashed right above her head and gave me the mental message that we are spiritually connected with each other. By the way, she is the best boss  I ever worked for. She isn't consciously spiritually, but is a wonderful lady. In some ways she seems more well developed than me.
5. Last night a star flashed next to one my books, and I got the message that there is something within it that I need to read. I quickly found two paragraphs that are really important to what I'm meditating about now, and that related closely to what I dreamed about last night.
6. After I dream, I'll turn my night light on and write some quick notes in a journal so I can review them later. Sometimes a star will flash right in front of my journal as I do so with the mental message:  "this is really important."


Here's an experience that also relates. One night I had three dreams, one after the other. They started at sometime after 1:15a.m. and ended by 2:25 a.m.  During the first one I  experienced what felt like a few days.  I was drafted in the Army so I could go to Iraq. I just couldn't understand why the Army would draft somebody who is 47 years old. I tried to see that I was just dreaming, but since a time span of a few days went by I figured that what I'm experiencing must be real. But then I started to get some clues that told me differently and I woke up from this dream and immediately became involved with another one. In this dream I was the father of a family I didn't know. It seemed real, but then I started to notice the inconsistencies and woke up to another dream, that was even shorter, but followed the same pattern of clues being provided so I could determine that I was dreaming.

As I woke up from the third dream I realized that these dreams were perfectly crafted. The clues weren't too easy, nor too difficult to decipher. They were just right. This caused me to inwardly feel that they are being created by my higher self. I woke up as I had this realization. When I looked in my room I saw flashing stars, but not just one at a time with a period of time in-between each flash. They occurred one right after the other, at times several stars flashed at one time. I was fully awake as they did so. In terms of my self, I felt as if I was an energy/awareness being rather than a body, even though I was aware of my body. I had this joy full feeling that I had finally made contact with my higher self (not completely though), and felt as if some of the other incarnations that belong to it were saying "Yeah! You've finally made contact with us."

-I got the mental message, just as you found inconsistencies and saw that your dream Worlds were unreal, find inconsistencies to see that your waking state is also a dream and that the body based person you consider yourself isn't what you are.
-I looked at my digital alarm clock, and I had this strong feeling that my higher self was smiling at me through it. The top dot of 2:25 was dancing around as if to say, "yes, this is your higher self talking to you." The lower dot and the numbers 2,2 and 5 stayed perfectly still. As I observed this, I got the mental message: "Part of the reason the waking state World isn't real, is because time in a linear sense isn't real."
-Often I have these inner dialogs which make it seem as if I'm communicating with my higher self. I'm not certain if this is so. During this experience I got a strong feeling that it is so.
-I asked if there are multiple incarnations existing within my soul, similar to how Robert Monroe has multiple selves within his I-there, and the answer was yes.

Eventually the experience started to fade, and some of my doubts came back to life (yuch).


I have one other star related experience to share. I had a dream one night in which I was laying in room with about 5 other people, each  of us had our own bed. A kid started to talk about how he found out that the I-there type of existence Robert Monroe speaks about actually exists. The other people in the room didn't feel comfortable about this, and I started to explain to them that this is a positive thing. Suddenly a bunch of blue stars started appearing above the kid's head. Next, they started to appear around each person in the dream, until the room was filled with a bunch of flashing blue stars.  

I'm still not certain if ones higher self actually exists in a manner similar to Robert Monroe's I-there. But I keep getting clues that it does (A star just flashed one inch to the word "does" as I wrote this. I chose the word "does" because that's the word I was writing when it flashed.).  For example, I keep having these dreams that tell me things about myself and life, and they are "PERFECTLY" composed to match my needs. I find it hard to believe that my little old ego based mind (bio computer) could come up with such "PERFECTLY" composed dreams.

I don't mean to suggest that these flashing stars for everybody. This is just how it has worked out for me.
