I've heard good things about a product called Threelac:

Also, you might want to try posting in one of the healing forums.

Peace

bluejay,
If they can't find anything physically wrong then this a good thing.Don't give up trying to find the answer. I had stomach problems in the past, but it's all resolved now. There were some spritual things attached to my problems. It took spiritual intervention to defeat it. It could be a mind-body disconnection problem.Getting in balance could be what you need. Weak stomach? Get strong.

Are you nauseated or just lack an appetite?

and ever since I haven't been feeling right.

Could this be fear?

Get other opinions if need be on this too.

I mostly lack appetite, but a year or so ago at school I became nauseated, started to sweat and almost puked in the classroom. That wasn't too nice of a feeling. Is there anything else I can do to balance myself than meditation and Qigong practice?

I would be interested to hear what kind of problems you had and what you did to get rid of them in more detail, and how they started. It is odd because all these stomach problems started to happen a few weeks after my Turkey trip. I mean, after the trip I felt good, nothing unusual, then suddenly I get the stomach thing again and I have gotten it on and off since then.

Fear? For what? But I don't think this has to do with fear so much.

bluejay,
To make a long story short:
Sometimes it's difficult to know your sick because your sick. This is why outside opinions often help. Others can see what you can't at times.

Once you realize there is a problem, get busy solving your problem, but be open to other's opinions until you have discovered your own cure.

My problem started during a hot summer. I couldn't tell the difference between the weather and that I was running a fever. My mistake. Take your temperature every once in awhile! I had let the problem go on too long. I had gotten to the point I thought I was dying (actually it was an obe but didn't know it). This incident prompted me to see a doctor. Once I was in the medical system everything got more confusing. One day they say I'm dying, next day, I'm not. The medical establishment can only deal with the mechanical/physical aspects of illness. My true healing came from a prayer. Spiritual intervention by way of a white light directed toward my abdominal area. My healing angel was on my case, thank God. In the mean time, I'm still committed to the medical follow ups for my mysterious condition. My stomach ulcer is there and then it isn't. As a general rule, when there are alot of weird stuff happening with diagnosing a problem, one is also having a spiritual problem as well. After all was said and done, I was cured according to the medical establishment. That was great, but it didn't fix a problem they cannot see. The rest was up to me. Luckily I had an angel helping me out of this. I had to practically die first! Then I started getting better. It took a year for the problem to resolve. In the mean time I did take the preventive ulcer medicine prescribed. I still didn't understand how and what the spirit realm had to do with all this. All I know is that I'm past that now.

Illness is a scary thing. You don't realize how vulnerable you are until something like that happens. The fear of illness is very real. Your illness was related to the digestive tract, therefore you've lost your appitite to avoid use of your digestive tract. The sweating may have a fever with it. Check your temperature. You may need antibiotics or other real physical treatment.

Nothing found medically is always good news, but it can also mean two other things. You went to the wrong advisor(medically), or it's a spiritual issue.Cover both possibilities.

Don't get angry with the messenger (medical lawsuits are rampant here-big mistake on the sick ones' part!). It's still one's own problem to solve.  Anger can be the biggest cause of illness.[:(!] Oh...the karma!!!...not to mention the karma with greed!

A while later, still fearful of my past (but cured) stomach problem, I was telling the doctor of this short episode of nausea after swinging on some swings with my daughter. He looked at me like I was crazy. He was right, I knew the answer to my question. I was out of shape, I needed to be more active. He didn't have to tell me with words, just the look on his face.

Prevention is the best cure.

These are some excellent replies wisp! I must say that I am still pretty confused on the subject, what to do and so on. I do exercise regularly 3-4 times a week. Mostly weightlifting, and I eat pretty healthy (in my opinion). No such things as pizza, hamburgers etc, my stomach can't handle those. At the time when I was nauseated at school I practiced Jujutsu so I don't think my shape should've been a problem.

I just don't know, I will have to keep searching the internet and asking people for advice. Searching alternative methods, doing my meditation and qigong. Perhaps say a prayer? What do you think?

And since I found out about the astral realm, meditation, energy work and how everything works(This happened in January 2004). That there is something else after death, my stomach problems have decreased a bit. I have been a happier person in general when I knew death wasn't the end.

Sahlyn, thanks for the link.

I also have suffered for years with migraines, anxiety and intestinal problems.  Doctors have been useless, except for low iron and a high score for inflamation somewhere in my body, they haven't been able to tell me anything else.  If anything they made things worse.  Between the ages of 14 to 28, four days out of EVERY week was devoted to migraines.  I would take four panadeines in a hit and it wouldn't move it a bit, I even had pethadeine and it didn't do anything.  No doctor ever advised me about the effects of Candida or diet etc.  They would just tell me to go home and live with it.

Then when I was around 28, a friend suggested that maybe my bowel was just getting blocked up and I needed to eat more fibre and drink more water.  I tried it and the migraines now only occur when I haven't been good, ie, I miss meals or don't eat fruit or don't drink enough, etc.  It got so bad that I stopped working, going out with friends, etc, and ended up on welfare.  I have only started to recover in the last couple of years.  Twenty-five wasted years. [:(][:(!]

My suggestion to you is to start focussing on what makes it worse and better as your guide.  Try drinking a couple of litres of water each day, no coffee or chocolate, make sure you eat three full meals with little fats, salts or sugars, eat lots of veges and a few fruits all spaced out throughout the day.  Also invest in Acidophillus capsules, they can have an incredible positive effect.

Honestly, don't get down about it because you will find the answer, its just a matter of time and running a few of your own tests and most of all don't make an enemy of your body.  Your body is doing the right thing, in a bad situation.  You have to figure out what the situation is.  Trust your body.

Yeah, the doctor I was at just said "It's probably just in your MIND". I'm beginning to dislike doctors, especially western style doctors.

Yup! I have Acidophillus caps, they are nice when my stomach gets really bad, really helps me out of that "trench" :). Since I lift weights I usually eat 5-6 meals a day, food every 2.5-3 hours or so. I have just recently began to keep a "food journal" to see if there is anything in there that can affect my condition. My suspicion right now lies in wheat bread and such things. But we will see.

I firmly started to believe that most stomach problems can be fixed with proper diet when I found this site.

And here is the book, look at all these reviews. I found 5-8 bad reviews out of 125. That's not bad.

Searching alternative methods, doing my meditation and qigong. Perhaps say a prayer? What do you think?

I'm all for alternative methods of therapy! Sorry, I'm not familiar with qigong, but any meditative practice that gets the job done, go for it.For me, prayer works in a pinch or in an emergency. When it comes to life issues that hint of failure to thrive falls on the individual. Sure, prayer got me out of a crisis, but I had some personal work to do, and I did.

I spent a year without an appetite. I also knew I had a mind and body disconnection problem. It was up to me to find a way to rebuild the physical connection. I learned how to eat to live (vs live to eat which wasn't my problem...but a common one for many).

I tried to find a post I placed in the energy section some time ago. I couldn't find it. I did find this piece I did on body shaping. It involves the same points I try to make about getting the mind connected back to the physical body.

The physical brain can be programmed. The physical brain reactes only to the information it receives. The mind is the higher self, and knows what is best for you (the body).By channeling the right thinking patterns, your body will be able to communicate to you what it needs. Appetite is such a signal. Not only do you want an appetite, but you also want the appetite to be for what your body really needs to be what it wants to be.It sounds like you have a great attitude about all this and this is all it takes. Now you have to learn a new thinking method.

This is the piece I did. The piece I couldn't find focused on the muscles more. Muscles are the body's strength. Strength building requires fuel. To obtain the fuel, the source of fuel must be personally ordered. I hope I'm making sense on what I'm trying to say.

In a days time you can  easily use every muscle in the body. The muscles are what I concentrate on to keep in perfect body shape. The weight is secondary but follows right behind body molding. I remind myself in a conscious manner of the muscles I use all the time. For every movement of my arms, hands, and fingers I pay attention. The same goes for walking, standing, and bending. I pay attention to the hips, legs, feet, and toes. I think about the muscles I am using during each time I use the various muscles big or small.Notice the back & stomach muscles as well. After awhile the mind takes over this conscious effort of awareness. Now for the molding part. The mind is conscious of the muscles being used. In order for the muscles to work they must be fed (the mind thinking). The mind knows of this need automatically. The mind will tell you that food is needed, the mind sees this as an energy need. You eat, the mind uses the consumed energy to meet the requirements for all the energy being used for the muscle activity. Over time your body will take on it's natural shape. The natural shape is what your mind sees and therefore your shape becomes a reality of this. This will be your ideal shape.  This way is better because you are not using the more often used sytem of self criticism and guilt toward your body image. The food is a second thought, energy is the first. By putting your mind in charge it is more efficient, and not bogged down by outside factors of false image, comparisons to others, and other emotional factors.

I wrote this for someone who had an overweight control problem. My weight control was not about overweight, but underweight. The principle applies to both. Yours is about appetite. This may help.

I have been having some stomach problems for about 2-3 years now, It all started when I went to Turkey with my family and got a stomach flu, Got hospitalized for 3-4 days, and ever since I haven't been feeling right. Been visiting doctors and taken all sorts of tests and they have found nothing. Still my stomach keeps bothering me, some mornings I can barely eat, even some whole days.

It is pretty disappointing that there seems to be no cure to this. The doctors do not know anything. I am meditating every day and doing Qigong. I am wondering, does anyone else have these kind of problems or has anyone had any experience, I would really appreciate just about anything.

Cheers [:o)]
