I just thought it would be cool to share this. I had a hunch about this and I've tested it a few times and it worked very well. When you have hiccups you should ask a person by your side to wish for it to stop, tell him/her to make it stop as if using his/her magical powers, but he/she will only use his/her wishful thinking. It works!

It doesn't work if you wish upon yourself, it has to be someone else doing it for you. Distance doesn't matter.

* I've just asked my mother to wish for my hiccups to stop and they did instantly.
