That odd feeling when you become what you are seeking

This applies to pretty much anything, whether it be knowledge of the astral or literally any other topic, but I seem to chronically keep becoming the very thing I seek after exhausting existing learnings. Specifically, I end up often endlessly searching for information on many topics that are personally relevant to me, end up hitting a wall, and then I end up figuring it out myself and often start teaching others and on occasion sharing it online too. Anyone else experience this weird "become the teacher/wisdomholder you once sought" effect? It's pretty fun to be honest and has lead to alot of personal growth for me over the years.

To make along story short, I have always felt that I did not belong here, on this "place" called "Earth", but I knew I must be here for a reason. Always been Spiritually aware and close to nature. Due to my interest, from experience, in Astral Projection, I created this forum in 2002. Then around 2003, I was inspired to write a book entitled "Our Ultimate Reality, Life, the Universe and Destiny of Mankind". That was followed by 8 years of weekly newsletters on a multitude of Spiritual, metaphysical and life matters, read by people around the world.  If you are interested you can download the books from the downloads page of my website, link in my sig of this post.

I can say, for sure, that the entire knowledge of the Universe is within every human being to the extent we may access it. As you experienced yourself, the more focussed you become on Spiritual matters, the more it flows. All the knowledge and answers you seek can only be found within yourself, not "out there". Also, because the knowledge of the Universe is within everyone, although most are usually not aware of it, when they hear or see the truth, it often resonates within them as true. I have always said - if something heard or seen written resonates as true, then accept it as true, if not, then reject it.

To conclude, here is a quote from the great Sufi mystic:

"There is nothing outside of yourself, look within. Everything you want is there. You are That." ~ Rumi
The mind says there is nothing beyond the physical world; the HEART says there is, and I've been there many times ~ Rumi

That was beautifully stated Adrian, thank you.

Lately I have been thinking more and more on this question-

"How long before you will regard time as the moving image of eternity and space as the fleeting shadow of Paradise realities?"

I wonder whether or not physical gravity and the formation of the planets, sun or the moon may give any indication to 'Eternal Reality'

Whether or not the link to Eternity, within us, is circular like our Sun or our planets. The force of gravity pulling mass towards its center. And what then, might be gravity, in Eternal Reality?

Adrian, I think many of us here on Pulse share the feeling that "we don't belong here". This seemed to first start at a very early age for me. Everything felt so "alien". I used to sit in the back yard and look at the stars, thinking, "why have you left me here"?

Now to what you said about everything being inside of us. Years ago, there was a movie about a guy with really bad delusions. The psychologist aiding this man would attack the problem by going into the different "compartments" in the man's head. Each compartment contained some kind of trauma or emotion. He drew a pictorial on the locations he was targeting. He would constantly be walking up and down flights of stairs to get to them. It was like the man's consciousness was a "Labyrinth to all"!

When I created my "Doorway thread", I wanted to keep it simple to some imagery that everyone is familiar with like basic colors and geometric shapes. After a while it began to evolve for me and it led me down of journey of opening those "doorways or compartments. At first, I had no clue what was behind a certain door. After a while I learned how to "target" specific doorways. I would use random numbers to see what was behind a certain doorway. To further explore, I re-visit that targeted number and find that many times, the same events or should I say "simulation" would still be in play.

I was really hoping that one day we could take this a bit more serious and see if groups of people could experience the same or even similar things. Unfortunately, that was my goal, and others did not share in it. I have had many PMs with people throughout the years here that have thanked me and told me how my Doorway technique had helped them reach their goal. The thing is, they were just using the basics of color and geometric shapes. Like Xanth always says though "focus is focus" and it doesn't matter what your focus target is, as long you can "hold" it for a period of time.

One of the things that I learned while being taught to "navigate" my NPR surroundings, was how to utilize motion. I wrote about that more in this thread here. Robert Bruce's NEW (New Energy Ways) helped me quite a bit by utilizing a targeted focus on "etheric bodily energy" and movement.
My username in the past here was "Lionheart". I am just sharing that because that is the username I used in most of the thread below.

Big same here. Always felt like I belonged in some better, freer version of this world that turns out to be a part of the astral I myself call the "secondary domain". Once you see that place or your core self in first/third person enjoying life there you can't unsee it and you realize how rigged our reality is specifically to not be like that place. The ultimate goal of seeking knowledge on the occult at is to make things, at the very least for yourself and if possible others too, better in this world by at least trying to bring some stuff from the astral here.

I never felt like I fit in anywhere either, maybe almost never. A few pockets in my life, yes. My old job, and maybe now at my new apartment. It feels like a community of people who look out for each other, and the animals out here in the trees.

Adding in that I had gone through some 20+ year old journals where I felt like I was in a rut because I did not achieve A, B, C, D etc. Going through and checking off nearly everything I thought I would never accomplish, but did, helped give me a new perspective.
