I highly recommend people watch this movie. Its supposed to portray the Astral world in fine detail.

It's a Brazilian movie, it's pretty good. The original title is called Nosso Lar. If you look that up, most copies have english subs.
I will definitely download Astral City movie and then watch it.

Saw the entire movie last night. I give it a 6.5/10. Acting was fairly good, but couldve done without the sentimental moments and shouldve shown more of what the astral planes look like
If I understand the sub titles , Nosso Lar is our home . The sub titles in the file I got are .srt files , you must use a player that will suport that kind of file. I use Linux and the k player will work , I dont know on windows , or mac. desert rat

Rat, download VLC Media Player which is free and available from www.vidolan.org
In VLC you go to File / Open File and in the window that appears you have the choice to use a 'subtitles' file along with choosing the video file itself. The .srt file is the subtitle file
I have VLC , I tried it first , but I guess I did not load the srt file rite . I like VLC, it is a cross plat form player ( Linux , windows ) it will play almost any thing . desert rat
Our home is correct. A lot of the subtitle files were done by Brazilians that don't have a lot of exposure to the English language so there is a lot lost in translation. I translated it, being a native speaker of both English and Portuguese, and posted an SRT file on opensubtitles.org a while back when it first came out for English speaking viewers that wanted a decent translation. It should still be on there if anyone is looking for the subs.
If you are still having trouble with the SRT file, you need to put the movie file and the SRT file in the same folder and then name them the exact same thing; it doesn't matter what you name them as long as they are both the same.
Also if anyone is interested in how this whole movie came to be you might want to check out Chico Xavier, who wrote the book that the movie was based off of. He was a very well known medium in Brazil and he wrote well over 300 books using escrita automática (automatic writing); he claimed that spirits wrote through him. He actually influenced Brazilian spirituality in a pretty big way. He didn't claim to be able to do anything extraordinary or anything, he just taught people that there was life after death. If you ever go to Brazil you'll find that a lot of people down there are very open about talking about spiritual experiences that they've had.

You are right about subtitles being lost in translation. They translated "Law of Cause and Effect" wrong in the beginning of the movie
On "the law of cause and effect " I am sure they meant karma . Different lang.s have a different way of saying things . In Spanish you say" yo tango aungry" ( cant spell in Spanish either ) it reads as "I have hunger " The movie reminded me of the movie what dreams may come . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_dreams_may_come , but with a slightly different plot . desert rat
