Greetings Peaceful Warrior!

You can feel it when you go to work, or when go to church or when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.

You: What truth?

Me: That you are a slave, my friend.  Like everyone else, you were born into bondage, born inside a prison that you cannot smell, taste, or touch. A prison for your mind. (long pause, sighs) Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Astral is. You have to see it for yourself. This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back.

Me: You sign out of this website and the story ends. You wake tomorrow in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. (a copy of Astral Dynamics is in my other hand) You read this book, among other things, and you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes. (Long pause; newbie begins to reach for the book) Remember -- all I am offering is the truth, nothing more.
(newbie takes the book and and glances at the cover...)

That is an interesting perspective. Would you mind providing some commentary in order that we might understand your interpretation?

With best regards,

Adrian.

Adrian, it is from the film the matrix. I agree to an extent with peaceful warriors ideas. However I wouldnt call it a prison for the mind.

Ha!  That's why I love all you guys...I really do.  I just posted this as a but of a joke for all the Matrix fans out there.  I simply got this from the movie script and cut and pasted a few words in/out...I have always remarked that the Matrix films kind of remind me of the fact that so many people are so entrenched in the banal things of life.  For many people, their god is money, or their stomach, etc.  when in reality there is so much more to reality than what they see.  I think that a big appeal of the Matrix film, besides it's obvious roots in the philosophy of the "evil genius" is that people sense there is more to reality than their mundane lives...and there is!

Hi peaceful warrior !

There are plenty of films, like the Matrix, that are interesting to watch in the context of "astral projection"....One of my favourites is "charlie and the chocolate factory". Here's the part where the families first see the inside of the factory, and Willy Wonka sings a tune..

"Ladies and gentlemen...
Boys and girls...
The chocolate room.
Hold your breath.
Make a wish.
Count to three.

Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin
With a spin
Traveling in the world of my creation
What we'll see
Will defy
Explanation
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world
There's nothing to it."

ps - I love that quote from the Matrix "It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth."

excellent !

Mark

You know, rereading the first paragraph of my post I can see where someone might get confused by what I had original seen in this: when it says, "The world has been puled over your eyes" I interpret that as saying that matrix/astral is reality and the world we live in, or think we live in...the "real world" is actually the lie that has been pulled over our eyes and the astral aka: spiritual dimension(s) is real.

In fact I am going to change that first paragraph...

But then there is always the scene in the resturant.

"Ignorance is bliss."

If you liked Matrix then you should check out The Thirteeth Floor.  Good flick along the same lines.

ignorance IS bliss, until you get hit by the truck. then it's painful. but then they give you morphine, so i guess ignorance really is bliss [:D][:P][;)][|)].
