So I'm new to the astral projection idea and it does interest me, however I do have a few questions I hope to have answered before I attempt to do my first projection.

01. How exactly do you return to the body/wake up?

02. What happens if someone wakes you up while you are projecting? (Ex. you are in your room in your bed and a sibling comes and shakes you to wake you up)

03. When projecting, do you keep your eyes closed all the time or do you open them?

Thanks!

Well, it's like a normal dream, your time will end at some point and you will wake up, or if you want to get out say it or say "take me to my body."

You just wake up as usual.

Well, when I looked at myself they were flickering under the eyelids, but I wasn't in a very deep state of projection.

There is no need to feel worried or scared about projection, it can't harm you only teach you! :) Hope I helped.

Thanks Zino, I appreciate the response. In regards to my last question, during astral projection the person's eyes are closed the entire time? If so, it acts I guess as images you see? Or do you open them? I'm having trouble graspin the concept of being able to look at yourself with your eyes closed

Oh right, I thought you meant physically...In the astral it's wonderful, you have your whole physical body...It's like a second you, when you open your eyes you see everything and then your other body just lying there asleep, so yes. You do open your eyes, but don't force them open or you may lose your concentration, but they open on their own. :)

Physically you will be in exactly the same state as when you dream. (REM). Your eyes will move beneath your eyelids, you can be woken up, etc.

I'm not an expert but i think this is what i've read

Zino

That is true, but when you OBE you first come into the physical plane, just higher up I believe, -then- you move up to the astral planes :)

So when you project you can open your eyes? Or are your eyes closed the entire time and you just see images? When you start to feel your body float up do you open your eyes or keep them closed?

Sorry for the mix up

You don't need to open your eyes to see- when you project you'll 'see' with your 'energy body' which is sort of like a radar.  If you can't see, getting away from your body will make it happen, minimizing feedback. So there is no physical 'eye opening'.
