The Mystical effects of Crystals

Hello,

    I was wandering if there is anyone who can try to explain just how crystals have such a effect on peoples bodies.  What I am trying to understand is - with all these different kinda of crystals, 13 that i know of now, how do these various kinds of material objects effect us, spiritually, mentally, and physically?

Also, I would like to hear from anyone that might use them also lol.

Quartz has physical properties that allows it to vibrate, or oscillate at particular frequencies depending on its construction. This is the basics behind how Quartz works in electronic circuits - how electronic watches keep their time, how TVs are able to tune into different VHF & UHF frequencies.

Consider that our physical bodies operate on electricity, and we too work on different frequencies. Our energy bodies, though different from electricity also work on different frequencies, often referred to in metaphysical terms as vibrations, but it means the same thing.

As crystals and gemstones resonate or vibrate at particular frequencies when energy is applied to them, they can work with both our physical and energy bodies to either amplify or transform the energies around us. The different minerals within crystals that give them their unique colours and compositions can define the range of frequencies they best work at.

As our energy body also operates in a range of frequencies, as defined by the different colours that can be seen in our auras, colours that also relate to our primary energy centers, specific crystals can be used to help amplify, purify, transform or heal energies specific to a particular energy center. For instance, our throat center works at a frequency that gives it a blue colour, so blue stones such as Lapis, Blue Calcite and Sodalite can aid the thoat center, Similarly purple stone such as Amethyst & Charoite aid the brow or third eye center, and orange stones such as Carnelion can aid the sacral or naval center.

Stones that have no specific colour, in particular - clear Quartz, can work on all levels as a general purpose amplifier of energy of all frequencies, and ferric stones such as Hematite & Tiger Eye or Tiger Iron (a mix of Tiger Eye, Hematite & Jasper) ground energies on all levels.

Different shapes of crystals, especially in the Quartz family, also have different functions depending their shape.

If you want a REALLY good book that gives you pictures, descriptions, properties, and a whole lot more info on crystals, look for The Crystal Bible, by Judy Hall. It doesn't have every crystal you can get, but it does have a few hundred of the more commonly available crystals, and a wealth of really good info on the crystals and how to use them.

Do you use crystals to do healing?  If so, what is the effect of the crystals like when you compare it to healing without them?

Yes, I do. I use the crystals with Reiki energy to provide a more localised, focused healing.

With Reiki healing, at its basic level, you are able to channel universal energy into a person, and allow the recipient's energy body to direct the energy to go where it is most needed.

With crystal healing, you are able to use specific crystals placed over the recipient's major chakras to both focus and transmute the reiki energy and feed it directly into a particular chakra. The healer aim is to clean and build up each chakra until the recipient's energy body is whole, healthy and strong, and identify any subtle body problems that could be the root cause of dis-ease.

Even without going through the full crystal healing process, you can just use a piece of tumbled clear quartz to amplify the healing energy. Sometimes during a healing you'll feel cold spots in a persons energy body, a sign of dis-ease. If the cold spot proves stubborn, holding a bit of clear quartz in your hand will amplify the healing energy will heal ar fill in that spot with healing energy much better.

This has not ben proven in any way. It's possible that crystals are like spells - they work because we believe that they work. I have about 100 types of crystals, they look good, but I don't feel any energy from them.

    Thanks alot for the info, I got lots of questions about these crystal still but I'm extremely tired, I'm just not used to seeing a forein object used in such a practice like energy development/healing ect.

Do you have any suggestions on what kind of crystal I would get? What does the size difference of a crystal do particularly? flow more vibration to the body?  

See if i could draw a picture for yea, it would be my problem trying to understand this crystal that is over you, and is somehow magnifying vibration from either your body or outside sources, lol boggles me, just when I think I know it all this comes up, (im sure theres more to follow)

The types of crystal depends on what you are using it for. Clear quartz appears to be universal and can be used in place of almost anything. Many people doing energy work get a crystal that corresponds in color to their primary chakra's.

I have talked with a few healers that prefer hematite for that purpose.
My wife and I were having some serious problems and I started carrying an amethyst (the only crystal I found to help a man's love life) and that same day we had one of the best conversations that may well have saved our marriage

Most places say to get an unpolished version of whatever crystal you get. Make sure to look up information on cleansing and programing crystals. A lot of cleaning I think is just focusing intent, but it seems to make a big difference for me.

I work in a field where I deal with crystal oscillation on a daily basis. Even the smallest measurable voltages will cause a crystal to oscillate. When a crystal oscillates(vibrates), it does so at a specific frequency. Some crystals vibrate faster or slower depending on the voltages, some stay constant but increase in amplitude. I think what I am finding using crystals is that my own bodies voltages oscillate the crystal and modulate(create a second frequency) the energy. The modulated energy of a crystal is a frequency conducive to certain aspects of work (ie healing, meditation, energy work).

For maybe a more clear idea of oscillation/modulation heres an example. Your cable television channel 58 comes in somewhere around 450MHz. If you run it through a VCR, the 450MHz is applied to a crystal causing it to oscillate. The vibrations are an exact replica of the original signal, only at a lower frequency. Usually a VCR modulates all signals to channel 3  (50 something MHz).

Hopefully that makes sense.

There is a place where 31 south turns into either westnedge or west main ( I can't remember which). There is a small store next to a photography store called "The Thieves Market". It is a costume/ antique clothing store that carries a large selection of occult/new age/Wiccan stuff. The ladies that worked there the last time are very helpful and understanding.

If the Thieves Market doesn't have what you are looking for, there is a place in Allegan that I go to called Blackwoods. She only has polished crystals for the most part, but her prices are extremely good, and she has some serious psychic skills Just take M-89 towards Allegan(Otsego exit), off 31S. Stay on M89 until you pass McDonald's in Allegan (15 minutes or so). The next light you come to hang a right and it will be a block up on the right.

Also, don't forget Barnes and Nobles. They have the best book selection, and they usually have books on working with crystals that come with crystals.

Yea i been to barns/nobles alot believes me lol, i got all of monroe's books, all 3 of bruces books lol and various other weird chi/ki, logic stuff to the science of psionics. thanks alot, didnt know of any such stores around me, that was frustrating
