I don't see why the mod has to be a jerk to me everytime I put on of my group posts up. He has done it before, they can ban me all they want, all it proves is that there blinded by there own ignorance.

Ok, let's start with some question about this demonic war.

What is a demonic war ?
Is it a war between demons and humans ?
Why would demons enter in war with humans ?
What is the goal, the interests, of these demons ?
Which form is this war going to take ?
How do we recognize these demons ?
Which form these demons take ?
How do we kill these demons ?

1. what is a demonic war?

it's a war that involves demons

2. is it a war between demons and humans?

that is the widely accepted view. because people think that we are the center of the planet and demons are only interested in us and not your neighborhood badger- they think that demons will war with us, yes.

3. i'm not exactly sure why demons would enter into a war with humans.... maybe they're feeling threatened by all the bigoted people running around and banishing/attacking them? might have something to do with it- if it were true.

4.goals.. interests of demons? um.. probably, like every other entity- they need food/water/shelter in some form or another. the most common "interests" are a basic war against evil situation in which they want to control and enslave the human race.
5. a demonic war could take place in a variety of ways. they could attack people the way demons usually attack people- psychically. they could also posess humans and use them to attack people like dragonX. i know that when i get posessed i want to accost people like dragonX.

6. how do we recognize these demons? demons will ALWAYS posess people that are different. the goths, punks, quiet kids, single mothers, outspoken women, women who own land, women in general, the village herbalist and especially old senile people. this has never failed society yet. every time people think that the devil is among us these people are killed first and have we had a demon takeover yet? no.

7. which form do demons take? depends on the time of day (literally) they can posess people, manifest some form of ghostlike form and not be physical at all. they (if they're cool) can also materialize their own bodies and use those, but only if you're the hero of the story and you're attacking them with a magical dagger you found.

8. how do we kill them? you can't kill a demon but you can kill its host- a list of possible candidates has already been given. keep in mind that demons will not posess a person who isn't abnormal. anyone that looks like you, acts like you or makes you feel comfortable are definitely not demons. burning at the stake was a good favorite in salem and in europe when they had their demon problems.

please note- i'm just kidding. don't run around killing people. i know that most of you are intelligent enough to read between the lines and sense sarcasm.

I'm not at all fussed about what your beliefs are. You can believe what you want and I'm not about to tell anybody what they can and can't believe. I'm certainly not ignorant to what it is your on about either. I could be in complete agreement to what your proposing, but there is one basic fact that I have to consider here - Adrian, the administrator, has made it clear that this forum will not be used for any form of evangelism, which is exactly what your doing. It's not just you, this is not a personal attack because I dissagree with your beliefs, anybody who comes to this site and tries to get people to follow their cause.

So you can spit your dummy all you like GothicDragon. This site is run according to how the Administrator wants it run, and if you don't agree with it, its your problem. I don't see anyone else here throwing little tantrums over not getting their way, so get over it!

About question #6, if I'm correct
-there is no specific ways to identify someone possessed by a demon visually, like horns, tail, long nails or demonic eyes.
-the only way for demons to manifest physically in our world is to possess someone, a demon don't have any physical body, it's like a spirit or a ghost, but are you serious when you say they can materialize their own body ?

Few more questions:

9: Is the willpower of a person affects the ability of a demon to possess this person ?

10: Can demons possess animals ?

11: Is there a way, other than visual, to detect these demons ? Do they emit special energy, waves or radio frequencies ?

12: Are they vulnerable to some things other than a magical dagger, like black cats or blessed water ?

Sharpshark... I think you may have missed the point to Moonburn's post, he was joking, he was putitng down the hollywood version of how a demonic war would happen.
So i guess if thats the way you want them answered, i could give it a shot.

Yes it i much easier for a demon to take over a person with very little willpower, but the really powerful demons could take over anyone they want.. a town mayor for instance. But you can only get one of those per epis... err.. war.

They certainly can, these are even easier to spot as a truly loved family animal will instantly turn on its owners and start howling a lot at night time, comunicating with the other possessed animals.

11: Is there a way, other than visual, to detect these demons ? Do they emit special energy, waves or radio frequencies ?

The energy given off by a demon is very unique and easy to feel, even people not well developed energy-wise can sense them. They make you feel nauseous and very uncomfortable. They do also give off extra heat then humans, but nothing truly measurable by any non-mystical tools.

See you can't really ever find that out until half way through the episo... oops again.. i mean.. WAR, half way through the war.
But don't worry, every string of demons have their weakness.

i hope that you realize that we aren't blowing you off, sharpshark. i personally believe that demons exist, but i don't buy into this war thing. don't get me wrong, i remain open minded about the whole subject. i've not seen enough evidence for there to be any sort of war...

you can still run into a demon though. it's more rare than you might think, but if you go looking for them they'll eventually show up(just don't expect them to go as easily as the normal "astral negatives")

they're real and they're like fighting bears- keep that in mind at all times.

by the way, the salem witch trials...it was mold spores on the rye that the bread was made from, to save the wheat supply...the spore acted much like LSD and had little or nothing to do with demons, unless the demons were the ones who went around sprinkling the spores on the rye to begin with. hhhm it's possible. :)A. I am a survivor of a very long line of women traced WAY back to a time LONG before salem in a far off country who's people were hunted and nearly wiped out for being witches...we were just very in tune, it's hereditary. simple as that. one more thing, I had a very nice looking individual sit on my bed and have a conversation with me about how he could be found under my room any time I needed anything etc, and wasn't that nice, what a good-looking guy he was ,too, must be an angel living under my house, as we talked his face faded in and out and took shape of a hideous demonic looking creature. He smacked himself in the head a few times and the nice image returned and he appolagized for the technical dificulty. okie dokie, now. I'll have my people call your people... NOT!!! was that a demon? or a dead corps under my house? Actually, the room below mine was taken out and made into a bigger family room because someone had died in there. he didn't try to posses me, just wanted to be "friends" A.

I didn't know that about the mold spores! Makes sense - people weren't being harrased by demons, they were having bad trips!
When will people learn that witches are more aware of the harm caused by dark practices than most, yet people still persecute them by labelling them as 'satanic'or generally use them as scapegoats.

IMO, I believe you are right in saying don't worry. Our spirits are immortal and indestructable. Fear of things like demons only erodes our connection to our spirit self, and separates us from the love the great spirit of the universe has to offer us.

Oh, and I just wanted to add that just about every religion conceives of some sort of negative force, especially negative spirits.This is even found in paganism, and i'm sure any friendly neighboorhood librarian could help you find a book on classical paganism.
It's funny, even though the idea of a "demon war" is dismissed, it seems many of the people believe in it, what with all the posts in the psychic attack forum.
