I don't know for you guys but when i'm smoking marihuana, I can easly concentrate on whatever i want to.
Sometimes i concentrate so hard on just one thought that i forget all about whole world including my body. I also felt my first vibrations when i was stoned, but never tried to project while stoned.
And yes i read about bad influences of any kind of drugs on your spiritual experiences, but when you think about marihuana it actualy isn't a drug, just a plant(remember also pejotles and meskalin in Aldous book Doors of Preceptions).
I think with right quantity of marihuana you can improve your skills but for a short time. What i mean is that it can help you in learning of skills.
I'm looking forward to hear about your thinkings

The THC in Marijuana IS a drug.

I study Psychology at University. I've read studies on Marijuana before having smoked it a little when I was younger. It does not assist in learning skills, in reality it impares them. Memory is affected.

This thread should be deleted before anyone gets any wrong ideas.

i'm aware of SOME negative affections that marihuana have on your brain, but studies has shown that marihuana have SOME positive efects on your mind(i don't know how to express myself since i'm not good english speeker).
Also you didn't consider the fact that science doesn't accept the fact of existing many of paranormal phenomens (which include AP and OBE).
Marihuana affect your brain, but also thinking, stres, food, and countless factors affect your mind and brain as well.
And for memory, believe me, I have consumed various drugs in the past, but i never had a memory lost because of marihuana.
I don't want for any of you to get me wrong. I'm not suggesting anyone to smoke marihuana, but i'm curious if anyone had any experiences simmilar of those that i had.
And believe me, marihuana affect your mind in a way YOU want it, no matter what scientific research sey.

There have been similar threads related to mushrooms and other illegal drugs here on the forum. As stated in those threads, the Astral Pulse does not condone or promote the use of any illegal drugs.

The question regarding the safety of marijuana use isn't a spiritual one. The fact remains that marijuana will mess with your mind whether you believe in OBEs or not.

Also, if you read through the posts in this section, it would appear that the vast majority of members are able to have success in this area without the use of any external substance.

With all respect to the moderators, don't you think that this topic should be moved to somewhere like "Chat"?

This has nothing to do with OBE.

I have the same opinion also for many of the new topics that have nothing to do with OBE that show up here.

The problem is that the good topics and replies are diluted with simple trivia and basic questions that should be addressed in other parts of the forum.
