Title: The System
Post by: Risu no Kairu on November 06, 2003, 12:01:07
It's all right. If English isn't your first language, people can live with spelling errors. It's when people purpose type stupidly (opinion).

Well, from what I gather, guides and stuff are just trying to help make you a better person. Sure, they have lessons they'd like you to try and learn, but they're not forcing you to do it. You can choose what you want to do, when you want to do it. Free will.

Thank you Karu for your answer but I can't see any really free will. You can say I can choose what to do when a guide gives me advices and informations but I think they are also controlled up there. We have a kind of limitation in the universal knowledge and we have to work hard to get some. Of course we think we have free will but I am talking about universal free will not only here in this life and in the after life. If we are all one and we are progressing individually and then in groups (higher selves) and they are also connected to each other, I don't see any sense in that. What is the purpose of life in general, if at the end we are all becoming one?

I look at it like this.  We all have higher up beings (entities, guides, etc) that help steer us in the right direction.  What that direction may be depends on the purpose we have incarnated into this lifetime.

However, they can only influence us to do things.  Ultimately, we decide the rate and direction of our growth.

As a really crude example, imagine a big maze.  There could be multiple entrances, many different twists and turns, but only one destination.

Our guides may guide and influence us to take the right turns to reach that destination, but if we choose to turn left or right along the way, this is our choice, and ultimately, we may end up stuck in the maze a long, long time, due to our free will to make those choices.

However, just because there are higher-ups out there who are guiding us in a certain direction does not mean that free will is an illusion.  We all have the choice on how we would like to progress in this spiritual journey, and if we so choose, we may get stuck in endless cycles of lessons because of our stubborness.

I'm sorry that I can't explain this any better, but I'm getting sick right now and I feel like dog poop.

Hullo Everybody. It's my first day as a member and I would like first to introduce myself. My name is Constantinos Psychis and I am Greek from Cyprus. I am 35 years of age and I have been looking for the truth of the system for years. I want to share with you some thoughts I have in my mind and if I make any spelling mistakes (I was reading somebody's topic about how angry he was with the spelling mistakes, although I don't find it so important myself) forgive me.

The system that we are living in is a totally controlled system. Either by sociaty, religious, parents, other entities etc. etc. I thought till now that life after death would be at least free will! After my last seminar at the Monroe Institute I came to the conclusion (my own personal one just to be clear with the institute) that the system up there is also controlled. It's like there are higher and higher management teams till the boss (that is maybe god, higher energy, love, actually it is not important to me now) and although we think we will have free will, suddenly they come and tell us: This is what you have to do for your path, or your destiny is this, or your guide tells you this and so many examples. And even if I evolve and become one with my higher self, I am actually a part of many and I as Constantinos, as a single unit don't exist any more. So I am asking all of you. How can I exist with a free will as a unit and not as a whole? Thank you all
