"Shadow Play" is my number one favorite episode. Its the reason that my name is "Shadowatcher". It is a great story about a man who lives in a nightmare. A horrible nightmare, where he is sentanced to death in the electric chair over and over again. He keeps trying to escape from the nightmare, to no avail. Finally, he is about to be electrocuted...and the whole nightmare starts over. He tries to convince people that they are actually just part of his dream, but they dont beliveve him. Even when he predicts everything they do, they still dont believe him. It just keeps going on and on, repeating and repeating. Dead scary.
Now im too scared to go back to sleep....
Such a great TV series, as short-lived as it was.
What is/are your favorite episode(s)? I can't pinpoint one.. There are too many good ones. The ones that come to mind are 'Terror at 20,000 Feet', where that guy sees that creepy looking thing out his window (which scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it.. It's totally dark out the plane window, and then when lightning flashes you suddenly see this undescribable face staring in) and Changing of the Guard, where the teacher finally retires to feel he never made a difference in the world, but upon preparing for suicide the spirits of his former students come back to thank him and show him that he did make a difference after all.
