This is scary. It seems to be a congressional 'thing' of some sort... something to do with evolution and why it should be taught to children. A senator is involved and a scientist.

Watch her reaction as she realises she is talking to a complete and utter moron.

And here... a religious girl has a very VERY profound question that she poses to atheists. It's a mind-blower... I'm warning you the mind blowing question may cause a serious change of mind

Imagine mentally communicating with words (I know) to some attentive group in one of the bst's.
You're being asked a few questions by one member of the group upon your strange materialisation before them.

There's definately no hope.

wait a minute, why is the guy's bacteria question so stupid? it's actually what evolution teaches us, okay, the time span is "a little" longer, but still, it's from microbes (or less) to humans if you put it in a nutshell (ok, let's leave out the intelligently designing alien genetic engineers out of the topic now )

the girl's question is funny yeah, makes one think who could have been the author, must be Jahwe, who else?

DenizB1992

I wonder whatever we are creating today evolves into?

I don't think she even thought about that before she asked it.  >_<

Chase

I am a Christian and I believe that creatures and humans can change over time. It's funny because if we look at our parents why is it that we look similar? Traits are carried along and we are constantly evolving because of this. That was a dumb question to ask in the first vid. It would take WAAAAYYY longer for the bacteria to turn into bipeds let alone humans but it could happen in the right environment over time. I'm not even going to go there with the second vid for the sake of keeping the peace although she presented the question with very little ground to defend on. I believe in evolution and creation in the ways of God planting the seeds of life. However, we will not know the full every-detail story until we have passed on. I do not believe this thread has been made with good intention. Attempting to shoot down someones personal beliefs is not right.

Bedeekin

Chase... for a start the first video seems to be a SENATOR who is RUNNING THE COUNTRY. Shooting down this man's personal beliefs isn't wrong when his beliefs are getting in the way of education. It's apparent this poor woman is trying to prove that evolution is correct.

The second video is an excellent example of when personal beliefs get in the way of actual reasoning and intelligence.

You are entitled to your beliefs. But you are a christian... so you can forgive me.

I got a kick out of both of them.

I find that laughing is extremely powerful for me. I laugh at my touretts. They aren't vocal, but I do facial tics sometimes and it used to upset me so much... Now me and my girlfriend laugh at them and then give eachother a big hug. She blows on my face when I do them and I say "babe that just reminds me I am doing them!"

A little off topic there...

I watch george carlin quite a bit. While his material may be a little rough sometimes I still laugh out loud.

I don't think bedeekin was trying to make fun of your belief chase...

I find that laughing at things is so powerful. You got to admit that second video was a little funny!

Fwewyu Tìomumä

Sigh. It makes me sad when people who profess to be Christians say extremely stupid things and post them on Youtube, Facebook, etc. It gives Christianity a bad name, and certainly not all Christians are like that.

Bedeekin

I know that all Christians aren't like that... I live in a predominantly christian parish village. Everyone is lovely and doesn't ram christianity down my throat. My dog craps in the graveyard.... I pick it up. Not with my hands.. with a plastic bag. In fact... if I had an action figure made of me... the accessories would include dog crap bags.

I got tutted at by an old woman the other week when Bobby... he's my dog... urinated on a grave. I looked at the person and said.. "well he doesn't know better does he?" and I got a small smile.

It's the fundamental christians that are mental. The ones that take it all very literally and get upset at the drop of a hat at upsetting their father lord god, and who seem to be totally devoid of humour.

I'm glad you liked it Cody! :)

astralnaut1

you are all evil! christians just want to save your soul and help you, but you attack them  :-D
mental layer by layer combat sux

They see it like that don't they?!

Bless them for they know not what they do.
