This whole thing is a bit silly. Here's how I see both sides. For James, he sees this a place meant for discussion of real things. Experiences and thoughts of people to help themselves and others grow mentally and spiritually. There has been a bit of a plague of childish posts dealing will ego-centered power fantasies, so I can see how James would wish to stop them, nip them in the butt, so to speak. On the other side, it's not very hard to simply skip those threads and read something else. I think I saw 3 or 4 2012 threads, no big deal, and they stayed mainly in the astral chat forum, so as long as they stay in one place, I think they should be allowed. And to everyone posting "James, I'm mad, listen to me!" threads, obviously it's going to do nothing but annoy him further, because it's filling up the forum with many threads all dealing with the same non-issue, so instead of trying to convince everyone how mature you are with these threads, prove it by simply letting what he has down roll off your back and get on with your metaphysical journeys. I think you are missing quite a big point - this is a place for real spiritual discussion. If you base your beliefs on DBZ then you're going straight up the wrong street - and generally these people wont listen othewise. So you have lots of people talking about a load of things that are simply not based in the real world....not a good thing. Now, I'm not saying it is not possible to fly, create balls of energy etc, but I see little evidence that anyone here is an incarnated deity (avatar), so perhaps its best to concentrate on whats actually possible? Further, chances are you're not going to scare any demons of any sort with this stuff. Even if it was real - the average teen blessed with that sort of power would do more harm than good.
So there are a lot of people who want to talk about this stuff "out there" - what do you do if they start significantly changing the forum decor? ...
...and (I've been saying this for ages...), if you have a genuine issue please just contact a mod or person in question directly. Much easier that way.
oohh I forgot to say: Many many things are possible. Eg:
- Planet x coming in causing massive changes on earth through a) long range ionic-electric effects (devastating) b) thinning the veil (possible devastating, possible good) c) all the evil people living on the planet (devastating - red elk talks about this, and he's a solid guy!) d) comets hitting earth
- Some sort of galactic alignment, eath shifting into a higher energy belt (energy streams have been found between stars, making the energy field of pyramids spontaneously grow at certain times of the year). Many names given to this, cant remember any now though. Possible ascension.
- Shift on timeframes from the age of pisces to the age of aquarius. Everyone kills eachother as past institutions crumble, then have some sort of mass realisation and lay down their weapons. Golden era.
- New World Order crew bring their plans centerstage, collapse of USA, one world government, most the population wiped out, those remaining are mind-controlled slaves to the power elite.
- Russia and China co-operate using scalar weaponry (Tom Bearden) to destroy USA and western nations, leading to their rise and hegemony over all the planet. Black ops and sectret government military/industrial types slink into the background.
- Biological attack on western soil facilitated by "rogue nations" (lol like chaina, saudi, etc) with massive casualties. Massive war, potential arms races, destruction of all remaining civil liberties.
- Revelations style 2nd coming, end-of-world scenario, time when demons and satan run amok - armageddon. Psychic attacks and demonic activity is on the increase (and please dont bring in this silly astral demon NOT other demon argument, thats like saying the rockefellers and not evil people they are evil incarnated physical beings). Afterwhich time of the New Jerusalem.
- Small inventors discover the secrets of manipulating ether/zero-point energy, heralding a new technological era of no disease, anti-gravity, limitless energy, and we explore space.
- Oooh pushing it now what else.....hrumm....massive attack by alien races who enslave the entire human race....return of the annunaki......races who live in the vast cave systems beneath our feet erupt out the ground......demon war in 2012.....reptilians take over......etc etc etc ad infinitum.
Any of these things "could" happen, some are definately credible, and might well happen. But if you really want to help the world, you have to get realistic. And you have to be able to measure things against eachother, logically and objectively. And look inside. And generally do lots of things which you cant learn by watching cartoons!!!!
OK now pls stop posting all these similar threads, or I expect more will be locked.
btw this is more of an explanatory post for my feelings and where I think things are. I hope its made some lights go on but I have little interest in discussing it! Or debating it more likely, because a lot of people right now are thinking of oh-so-many rationalizations as to why I am wrong, instead of taking a step back, deep breath, and THINK FOR YOURSELF..

Well put goku but I still feel the need to defend myself from the other members calling me, stupid and immature just because we are talking about a Demon war.

Proof. It is a funny word that is rarely realized. Most things in life don't possess this thing called proof. Proof is created by the searcher. I mean if people don't go searching then there will be no proof. So this proof that is so cherished around here is basically substantial. Anyone can come on here and say anything they want and we are expected to believe them. Sadly, proof is usually dealt to the person who can argue about it the longest. Bottomline, 1Zenryoku, has a point. This issue and any issue related should be allowed here.

As for proof, the only time you'll find people demand proof is when you put across some belief as being THE TRUTH, that EVERYONE must listen to.

From my understanding the Monroe Institute conducted thousands of experiments where a person who said they could leave their body would be put in a room and told to do so. They would then go to the room next to them or a hidden area in their room where an eight digit number was put. They'll then come back and tell the scientists the number. Ok gothicdragon, I'll bite. What is this "rise to action"? If its about fighting demons then I really wish you would reconsider. Not all demons are evil and a few can be really good freinds.
Now while I have assisted a few uniquely gifted people in permanently closing a portal to a hell dimension I have to state that I do not think you are fully aware of teh dangers inherent upon embarking upon a project that massive. Evil often regards people who do good as mosquitos to be ignored, however, if you make a target of yourself you will no doubt have the full force of darkness upon you. They don't need to eat or sleep. It will be very hard for you to stay aware for long before you need sleep. And the stress of knowing what they can do can kill you let alone any actual demons who attempt to disembowel you.
When I and the others went for a full blown assault upon the hellmouth many people were slaughtered adn I along with the other survivors barely escaped. Now we are a target, no matter where we go or what we do we are always looking over our shoulder for the next Turok-Han or demon that decides to attack.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go help andrew open a jar.

People I believe that unless someone personally insults you on purpose there should be no reason to get angry. We are all here to learn and debate, so we ARE GOING TO HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS, BELIEFS, ECT. IF your beliefs clash it is good to argue politely with people to try to understand why. This is called learning. I know it's hard to think "oh this guy posted something that looks like absolute bullsh".... but if I step back for a sec and THINK before I say that maybe I can see why, and if not ask him to show his reasons.
Speaking of reason's if more people showed thier thinking processes more than these personal feelings would lesson quite a bit don't you think? That way you can see where the peoople are coming from and we can all learn from it instead of arguing.
Just my thoughts on this.
And about the DBZ stuff... I have seen forums overrun with this kind of thing. I can understand the mods view on this. Many people in other forums try to Force thier beliefs on others. This is seen as such because at one point these people did not post here. When they did everyone else took it as an "invasion." Here is what I mean:
Astral1: Do you think it's possible to be able to see what's going on in area 51 with AP'ing?

I am sorry if I seem like I want to have this solved right away or if I seem big headed in any way but this is one of the nicest forums I have seen and I don't want to see people reverting to what I have seen on other forums. I have been in Qigong forums where DBZers and traditionalist absolutely did not try to understand the other viewpoint and ruined the board. I am not kidding when I say that ALL FORUMS EVENTUALLY WENT DEAD AND CLOSED UP. I am not trying to scare anyone there, but I am saying that I believe we are smart enough as a group here to get along with the other side and respect thier beliefs, or try to as best we can.
I agree. I myself am a big fan of Buffy and other such shows but I would NEVER think of imposing that fictional reality on this non-fictional place where we are studying genuine metaphysical phenomena.
There's plenty of other forums for stuff like that, one doesn't need to convert other forums out of selfishness.

Well i will train. It wont be my life. But i would rather use a part of my life for training rather than loose all my life by getting killed by a demon. Both James and the people under the post acted rashly and immature. Okay James should have given a better reason but then again don't try to recruit people and don't force your beliefs on others; a belief is exactly what it says it is, an opinion. People get emotional about beliefs and will fight for them I sorta have my own but I just say them at then let it go, if there are questions I answer them. (politely) I do not yell (or I try not to) In my opinion James should have not locked the post without a warning to calm down and take it easy. But the topic did get very heated I respect James posistion and know it takes alot of work and restraint.
