QuoteDon't know where the best place for this topic should be.

Hi, does anyone do and enjoy sparring or any sort of battling when in an OOB state? What are your favorite weapons, tactics, skills etc.?

•Who/What do you like to fight with on the Astral?

•How would you rank yourself in terms of strength, speed, etc.?

•What/When was your first battle?

•What are your favorite weapons to use?

•Do you buy them from a store on the Astral or make them with energy?

My favorite weapon I like to use are claws.

•I prefer speed and strength when I fight.

•I manipulate energies to make the weapon I need to use for combat.

•I haven't actually had a battle during an OOB or Projection but I have in dreams of fighting and I work on manipulating energies into the things I use. But I do want to spar with my spirit lover.

-I do. I like to fight friends and "monsters". Just like the ones back from a long time ago in Ireland.

-I prefer speed if needed. Strength too, but only as far as the brain goes. I like to attack in a psychological way, like outwitting the opponent. Slowly, but surely, like a game of chess. Use of speed is only used when necessary to finish someone/something off.

-First battle? Hell if I know.

-Weapons go usually from my brain to my sword.

-Make them.

Well, I might sound quite boring to you young folks, but here we go anyway...

I'm not into computer games at all. I am also a bit older than the computer game generation that is now doing the playing (not that we didn't have it, but even then I wasn't too interested). And I am certainly not interested in 'fighting' in general. But some action is always nice, even for an 'old man' like me.

However when I grew up in the 80ies I was into marvel comics. So it happened lately that I became my old hero Spiderman. I was jumping between skyscrapers, shooting my net from my wrists, making sommeraults in the air, clinging ('sticking') to and walking on highrise walls. At one point I watched myself form the outside (I change perspectives a lot) and saw me then indeed dangling as Spiderman (costume and all) head-down like this. A typical "Spidey" action, also in the movies, iirc.

It was fun. I might do it again one day.  :-)

Hee hee, I can recall being spidey too in the.late 60's/ early 70's. Not long after it appeared oruginally the idea to try this out was too strong so out I went. The tactile feeling was amazing, you can't forget that feeling. Many good experiences were had.

Cool. Let's make a new superhero dream team then. You be Batman, I'll be Robin.  :-D

Can I still use my zimmer frame then?
It's well kitted out.

haha I have talked about seeing spiderman in a projection in a few posts recently....perhaps it was one of you two  lol only my spidey was webslinging around the dome I was trapped inside

urshebear

oh and to answer the question, I have never fought in the astral....but I have tried out making a ball of love energy that I charged up and then released but I didn't release it at anybody, just wanted to try it in case I ever do need to use it.

I have also wrestled with stretchy negs in my earlier days until I realized that wrestling them doesn't work lol

What exactly do you think you're "fighting"?

I'll be honest, most people who come here talking about fighting like this have little to no idea what they're talking about in regards to projection.  And quite frankly, it's very telling of your state of mind.

Hopefully, eventually, you learn that fighting in any form only hurts you in the end.  I'm not saying that fighting doesn't have a place though.  Just not in this manner.

I enjoy sparring with my spirit guide/lover. I want to be able to fight off Sonic.exe and such other bad entities that are in my way.

Sorry, but I love fighting, it gets me pumped and it's fun.

The thing is, there's nothing to fight.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

Well, your belief is going to end up hurting you.

W/e, I'm not going to argue.

When I was talking about fighting, I simply meant friendly challenging. That's why I was going on about the whole "mental" thing then finishing someone off and all that frick frack about a game of chess. Actually fighting someone/something isn't something I prefer. I like to do things, especially in the astral, only if it will either keep things neutral, or help me grow spiritually. I was always told that things like fighting or getting mad won't help me grow in that way. Fighting with your guide/lover, I can't help but to think that you are talking about just being friendly. I still have a lot to learn, but frankly just being friendly doesn't sound bad or anything.

Yes when I fight with my guide it's friendly.
