Hey everybody. It's AstralCody
I just wanted to make an update on me really fast. I haven't been here in a while. This whole year kind of collapsed on me. Right after my birthday things went downhill pretty fast. I ended up in a bad point in my life and I made a mistake of admitting myself to the ER. Well, they sent me off to a mental hospital and it was probably the worst experience of my life. I went for panic attacks but I was stuck in there with people who claimed they were from different planets. I had a girl come in my room every night and threaten me along with others there... People were constantly pinned down and I constantly had staff ask my why I was there. They said I didn't belong there which made me a little happy... The doctor threw medication at me and when I told him I wouldn't take it (It was for schizophrenia) and I was just really anxious... He got mad and extended my stay for a week. It really messed me up the things I saw in there BUT here's what I got out of it!

I wanted a spiritual therapist when I got out (Had to get one) and I found a lady who does reiki. Long story short I am now reiki one certified. I see a medium and I will be a reiki master in a few months. I am also a storm spotter now! I am on with Skywarn and I am basically the eyes of the sky. I call in tornadoes and other weather phenomena to the national weather service. This is a video of what I will be doing. It's cool stuff!

I have all the equipment this guy does and talk about an adrenaline rush... I will have videos in the future for you guys. For some reason tornadoes and weather does something to my energy. It rids my anxiety. I am renewing my first responder as well so I can help those impacted. I am getting my HAM radio technician license.

I think I experienced all I did because I never took action for myself.. Maybe I went through it so I can get in gear and live a life. I was living in fear. I'm really making headway. By next year I will be off all medication for good. =D Withdrawling from benzo's aren't too fun... Got to do it safe or I can have a seizure.

I just wanted to update you all! I should be around a lot more now that things are getting better for me.

Hey Cody, it's nice to see that even though you went through your own personal hell here, you could still find a "Silver Lining".

I am happy to hear things are looking up for you!  :-)

I was even happier to see that you can look at all of this that has happened and see the lesson or message that is being shown to you! You have created posts in the past asking for help. No matter what we could say, it all came down to you being the one that could solve it.

Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

Thank you lionheart. =D

Yeah I look at some of my past posts and I really was living in fear. It's basically stopped me from having OBE's. Everyday I just take more steps. No doubt in my mind I went there because I wouldn't take action for myself to get better. Sometimes I think this is a prison planet but... I'm learning so much it doesn't have to be a bad place. Like we create our realities. I've known that all along... Just never applied it! I'm reading a book by William Buhlman that I am really enjoying too. It's called Secret of the soul. Good stuff :- )

Glad you are winning this. Next step is freedom from the nightmare.
When you get your licence and some gear. Shout up, Ill update mine if my HF still works fine.

I know it's hard to be this honest but it really helps others.

Be careful with those powerful storms. I've met a few storm chasers and I know how important their work is to not only them but to all of us. This may be a great way to dump that anxiety.

I have been panic attack free for a long time now and I'm so thankful that I was never on any benzo's for long stretches. Don't be tempted to get off them too fast because I'm sure you are aware of how dangerous that can be.

Stay safe and keep an eye on the sky for us. :-)

Thank you Szaxx and Zombie =D

Yeah it's incredible... When I was... Oh, seven years old I think. I wanted to be a weatherman. Before that I always had some connection to weather... Lightning scared the crap out of me as a kid. Like before the age of 7. I remember I would go to sleep everynight listening to weather radio. If there was a lightning storm I would get really terrified when it flashed the windows at night. Then I was fine with after a while. I always had some crazy connection.... Always looked up lightning online. It wasn't till this year it slowly started slamming me again. Fascination with weather and space and just the universe in general. Now I love lightning... Seriously I think sometimes I get too close, but I know the safety precautions. I got to take a lot of classes still. I never leave my vehicle in a lightning storm. I will get out every now and then if there is a storm cell off in the distance. Right now I am doing a lot of studying. Learning about how the atmosphere works in general.

This was me monitoring a squall line this summer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeRlOqXgjKw

I headed out there later that day. I am not going to travel nationally until I get my HAM radio license though.

On lighting , I have scene the damage it can do to equment . If your are going for your ham lic. I will say "73" . If any one hear does not know its for the 1873 Winchester .  I never got mine , I could not learn Morris code .
p.s. I do know you can get a ham lic. for v.h.f./u.h.f. with out knowing Morris code , I just never tried .

I could not understand morse code until I saw it in light. I could see the dots and dashes much easier then I could hear them. Once I made that connection, hearing it was easy.

Maybe that is all you need to do. :-)

Hey Cody,

good to hear you're fine again.

I remember your posts also about your changing in nutrition helping you a lot with physical problemes, we talked about this on other threads. Hope you're still (or again) on healthy diet.  :-)

Keep up the good vibes!

Hi , I used to teach it
I know the easy letters e ., i .. , s ... , h .... ,  t - , m-- , o --- , r .-.  , k-.- ,  I remember an add in a mag called boys life ( mid 60s ) to learn Morris code . It used the r as an example   , r is for race car the two dots are for the tires the dach is the car body .
On "73" as a sine off , it was used by the telagraff operators in the late 1800 s  . It meant if any thing happens to me I will you my 1873 Winchester .  I have read that  a few of the telagraf operators( men and women) started a form of cyber sex using Morris code .
On a ham lic.  If you want to use a freq. on h.f. ( 3-30 Mhz ) you need to know Morris code .

It's all about rhythm of each word.
You have to learn each letter first as a sort of rhythm. Once familiar you can read it easily at 7 wpm. Once familiar with words it's readable at 20 wpm easily.
Our Mr Morse did a great job inventing this code for the boys.

I hope phaseshifter gets on well with this. I can help with the U.K. side of things but thats probably not much use.

@ phaseshifter, It's something to occupy your mind by converting everything you see into code. When waiting and bored it passes time lol.

On one of Wayne Dyer's p.b.s. t.v. shows he states that Morris code is stuck in his head as a meam  .  He learned in the Navy in the 1950s
