Well I have never astralled before, but the way people describe is that you can basically go anywhere you want. So i was wondering if people could use astral projection to see if the old folkore and other old old history events about religion and what not were true? For example seeing if the "kitsune" and other things were real.

So could you do that in the astral plane, and if so if anybody has done it? =S
Thanks guys =]

I had never heard the term kitsune before , but found links on the term .  Its Japanese for fox , I guess its a shape shifter . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitsune   http://www.mythicalcreaturesguide.com/page/Kitsune   You might find some out there some where in the astral .

Wow it really is amazing how much you can seem to explore through projecting.

Once you learn the art and become proficient, this physical world we exist in becomes so unimportant, that things like you asked are seemingly pointless.
It may be a shock reading this but there are experiences unconnected with anything you most likely have never dreamed of, where you really don't want to return here.
It's infinite in what you can do, you set your own limitations by beliefs and what you've experienced so far in life.
As the physical existance is our primary state of being and all we know when beginners, this influences our initial experiences.
This changes completely over time.

All the more reason to practice this. Now as this is getting replied too, I was also wondering about practicing it in the early mornings. As the best time to try this is in the mornings, I feel after 6AM things start to get noisey around the house and what not since people start doing Yoga =P. So I was wondering when I should practice this? Is going to sleep at 10am and lets say waking up at 4AM good sleep rest to practice ? Also is 2 hours enough in each session in "practicing". Thanks

The highest success rate is in the morning after some sleep.
Good time too as things are quiet.
If things don't work too well in 20 mins, I usually sleep and see what occurs this way.
A couple of hours is long but good when you are familiarizing yourself with everything.
Your sleep requirements are yours to experiment with. Too little or too much isn't going to make things easy. Try to find a balance, then you know how much you need. You can wake an hour or two earlier and try then.
