I have a recurrent problem and i want your opinion about it.

I dont want:
- a clinical opinion because i understand that what you guys will say, its just a simple opinion
- stupid opinions saying ridiculous stuff like "you are being chased by Greys"
- opinions that only serve to provoke or show to other people that your guys, are amazing

btw, the 3 points that i said should be apllied to every topic on this forums...specially the last one.

Now, the problem is not dangerous, its nothing special, but it happens that its common with me.
I wake up in the middle of the night and i dont know where i am. For example, last night i woke up suddenly, completly scared without knowing where i was ( i as just in my bed). I got up from the bed and even walked for some while, scared....really scared because i could knew where i was. Then i tried to find some light. I know that there was light near (the lamp near my bed). By using my tactile senses in the dark, i found the lamp and turned it on. Then i realised that i was in my room. When the lamp turned on i think that i got completly awake and realising where i was. I could feel my hearth pumping fast yet, due to the  situation. I calmed down and went to sleep again and i got into sleep state fast.

On other night i woke up and again i didnt knew where i was. Moments before waking up i was dreaming with sewers or the like and when i woke up i got myself wandering, in the dark, if i was in the sewers! Then i saw the red dot light of my TV (turned off, in stand by mode, with the typical red light that you can see in any TV on stand by mode). So, Since that light was the only one and i was completly scared for not knowing where i was, i started walking slowly to the tv. At the same time that i was scared i start to scream, calling for help. i cant remember exactly but i think that i was calling for my cousin or my father...i dont know. My grandmother and my father woke up from the bed because they were hearing my screams. Then, when i hear their voices i realised that i was in a dreaml like state and i was in my room afterall. I got calm and went to sleep again.

These kind of episodes are frequent on me. Sometimes i just wake up witouht realising where am i, but i realise quickly that i am in the room. Sometimes, like the descriptions above, it takes time.

What the hell is this??
:(

I dont like because it scares me a lot when i have it.

thank you
I love you!

It sounds kind of like night terrors, except you remember the entire incident. Most people who experience them aren't awake enough to know what's going on or even remember any of it.

I have a cousin who gets up and walks around at night, terrified most of the time, and but he's in a nightmare and will be "somewhere else". My aunt has to coax him back to bed and wait for him to "really" wake up. He never remembers it though. It's tends to happen during stressful times.

Maybe it's related?

(I apologize if this is the clinical opinion you don't want, that wasn't intended)

lol sorry but i didnt explain correctly that about the clinical option: i intended to say that i will not consider any of your options as an "official one" in what refers to medical diagnostic...well this is confusing to explain lol. I mean, my objective with that point was to make you feel safe: you can say whatever you want that i will never consider it a real clinical opinion, because if do that, it would be stupid for me to accept it as a real diagnostic of my medical condition. lol

Well, about might terrors i dont know...i tought that with night terrors people get in the bed, not my case. Maybe sonambulism? But it cant be because i am partially waked or even completly awake...i just dont know where i am.

thank ou stroke. after your suggestion on night terrors i found that very probably its what i suffer from...and i would never guess it, because i had a different idea about night terrors. thank you :)

Awakened_Mind

I've woken up sometimes from sleep and when I am physically awake it's almost as if my mind is still in a dream world. I remember one experience where I woke up in a thunderstorm (I was physically awake) and thunder sounded and I had the idea run through my head that a massive bomb had just gone off and I was just laying in my bed waiting for the fall out.

Now in what I'll call for now a 'dream mind', you can know things that never really are displayed in the dream vision. For example someone may say "My friend was behind me scared in my dream" and you ask "Did you actually see your friend?" people often say "No. I just knew he was there."

So, when you are having these experiences, is it more 'idea' or vision?

Truth exists beyond the dimension of thought.

Kazbadan

No, i realy see. I am really awakened with my eyes opened and almost (if not tottally) fully awakened.

Awakened_Mind

Would you say you're hallucinating?

No i think is more "desorientation". I Feel more like that. I feel that i awake, suddenly, very quicly, without knowing where the heel i am.

Its so strange!

But i ve beem reading stuff onnet and it seems like night terror. I will send an email probably, to the author of the website i gave above and see what he thinks.
I love you!
