verified haunting

I see things all the time. Since I came to visit my mom, there has been a lot of activity. Last night, her friend who came to visit saw something too...it's good when someone else shares a sighting, cause you know your not crazy...went like this:

Some months ago, my niece and my mother were out in the yard. My niece goes up to my mom and asks who that lady was. "what lady" my mom says.  "the lady over there" over where? oh, she's gone.  Gone where? my mom asks...oh, she disapeared. so after asking my niece a bunch of questions, she determines that a lady in a long white dress walked accross the tree line and disapeared into the archery bails.

My niece had a panick attack and ran out of my mom's room because she heard something under the bed grunt. There is no "under the bed" as the bed sits directly on the floor. To this day she will not go anywhere near this side of the house unless she is with someone.

For some time, the hall light has been flickering and turning off and onn for long periods of time. One night it had been turned on and the switch was up. So someone/thing had actually turned it on by the switch.

3 nights ago, or so, I saw a little girl. about 4 feet tall walk into the hall from my mom's room and quickly disipate. She had long dark hair and a long dark dress. The only light area I could see was her face. So she had long sleeves and a high collar.

Twice over the next 12 hours, the bathroom door opened by itself.

The cat went into my closet and a few seconds later came shooting out like a bullet train and ran to the other end of the house.

Last night, our guest stayed in my room and told us this morning that she thought I had come into her room because somebody was in there. She thought nothing of it until this person came to the side of the bed and was standing really close to her, looking at her. She reached her hand out to who she thought was me, and the apparition backed away to the closet. She still thought it was me, but wondered why I was wearing a long high collared night gown. She got up from the bed and the apparition turned and disapeared into the closet. she said it made sense that it was me because I was the only one in the house that it resembled...long hair, thin. But the clothes were all wrong. And it had turned around when it went into the closet. She said she saw a big gash in the back of her dress as if someone had gone at her with a knife. Of course after it disapeared, she knew it was a ghost.

Later the same night, she woke up and thought she heard the cat walking accross the computer keys. She got up and the cat was sitting on the window sill. when she went to pick it up to put it out of the room, it vaporized.

For the past week or so, every night the computer makes loud popping and clicking noises, I thought it was cooling down after having been on for a long time, but our guest said it kept waking her up all night, only I had not used the computer that evening, so it wasn't what I thought, the cooling down.

So, looks like we have a family, or at least a lady and maybe her daughter in the house. Long ago, there would have been settlers here, as there is a big creek not 30 yards from the house, I'm sure many people camped or settled here near the water.
