Just a calming FYI;  Schnectedy doesn't have anything to warrent Patriot batteries defending it, and there is no such thing as a nuclear missle turret.  Most nukes are on submarines or cruise missles, the rest are in the Dakotas.  China doesn't have that many nukes anyway...

Sounds more like a bad dream than a prophetic vision.

yeah, but China are still a threat (how many nukes does it take - really?), and their military leaders hold some seriously aggressive attitudes towards the US. Further, China is expected to become a superpower in the next 50 years and may well rise to dominance over the US, they certainly have the various necessary resources and I would be very suprised if this did not happen eventually. For instance, they are the only people in the world at the moment with a truly active space program.
And while "Schenectady" (meh?) might not have anything of importance in it, thats not to say it wouldn't be below the flight path of sea launched missiles.
Just a coupla' non-calming thoughts! hehehe....

By nuclear missile turrets, I meant those cold-war Soviet-esque rigs that pop out of the ground and launch a missile. And if they were secret, then how would you know they didn't exist? Hmmmm . There is the big R & D facility, and the Knolls atomic power laboratory, perhaps that's how it get tied in.

Even if it doesn't mean anything, dreams are still lots of fun to talk about [8D]

I had a dream last night that is starting to creep me out. In it, I remember talking to myself about how it must be real because something something something, and I dreamed about it. Or one of those wierd things where you wake up from a dream in a dream, yea.

Anyways, it starts off, I'm what appears to be a scientist working for the government (US). We've found this atomic weapon, and trying to dismantle it, and we're rushing to assemble this device that is to deactivate it, but it ends up setting off the nuke.

Then I'm in my basement, unsure about the season, and we're under nuclear attack from China, of all places. The rest of the dream was erratic, but in the dream it was all pretty coherent, I feel about in my 20s. I remember seeing missle turrets, I don't know if they were nuclear weapons or patriot sites, and the city Schenectady, NY (I live near it so it's not like I'm just pulling a name out of my head). I'm with some people, I think they're my friends and they look about in their 20s too, and were scrambling to find cover before the next volley comes down. It's really scary with the whole 12/21/2012 thing, and yea.

It was surprizingly detailed, I don't think I could conciously recall it all, but ask me anything about the situation and I bet I could tell you. Just thought it would be something interesting to share.
