Hey guys,

I was just wondering if any of you guys have or have in the past had fear for the metaphysical?
I discovered lucid dreaming about 3 years ago, and adored it although didn't realize how amazing it was.
I later experimented with psychadelic drugs (stopped now), and realized how bizarre reality is.
I'm just getting into OOBEs, and I find them fascinating and have a huge desire to practice in it.

YET, it it's all very spooky. I think from going from such a standard life to knowing about Lucid Dreaming, OOBEs, astral travel, DMT, meditation etc is all very mind blowing.

Anyone else have this problem? And any solutions?

Cheers,

Calum

Delving into the unknown is always a scary thing to do, because you don't know what to expect. But when you learn more about your true self and what you really are, you see that there is no real danger to be found. After this occurs you stay the course and open yourself completely to the possibilities. But this all comes as a result of your own personal experiences and the way that they effect you. We can talk here until we are blue in the face but that doesn't do a thing. You have to see this all for yourself to be able to understand it and then you will still always have questions. That's what life is really all about!

Hi wise owl, I think its very normal to feel excited but also unsure. But we come to relaise that all that you have mentioned (apart from the drugs lol) are all natural aspects of our human awakening existence, only you have chosen build a relationship with your own spirit and all its wonderful potential.

Be kind to your self, enter your journey with joy and remember the point is to enhance your life, so anything that doesn't let it go. Regards  :-)

Hi,
Its like deep water, you know you can swim so where's the problem?
The fact its deep scares you.
This is a waking form of sleeping. You stay awake. Your body goes to sleep.
Nothing to be scared of. If a spinning vortex appears, go into it. It looks scarey, but its a liferaft in the sea. Fear nothing but yourself.
The journeys start when you start your first journey. Its something you can't get enough of and will improve you in many ways. Keep at it until you're ready. You'll know when time is right automatically.
Safe travels.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

All three of these answers are wonderful, written beautifully and have motivated me tenfold.

Thanks a lot,
