How funny!

I have seen it once, but it was a few years ago so i can't remember a lot of it, and it was before i was into the after-life and all that jazz.
You know a movie is going to be good if it's got Robin Williams in it, especially an emotional movie. He's definitely my favourite actor. I really should hire this movie again some time. Thanks for the reminder [:)]
I've seen it on mushrooms and it was awsome. Definately played with my mind!
I think it was a great movie. It is nice to see a break from the traditional ideas of afterlife, heaven, and hell. I hear the book is a little different but much better. I would like to read it some day. So many books so little time.

Yes, it's an underrated movie. I've seen it a couple of times. I liked it also. There was something I recall reading in a post by Robert (Bruce) a while back, that he felt it was a good representation of what certain astral levels would be like. If I find his remarks, I'll post the link.

I must get on to the book, though at the moment I can't even be bothered reading my school books heh.
I think a great part is where Albert is explaining to Chris what "you" are. When Chris is in the water, and as he starts to realise there's nothing physical about "you" he ascends to walk on water.
ooo and when Chris sees the purple tree and gets there in 8 seconds, that just makes me feel great.

Now I realize why I couldn't find the post. It's because it actually came by way of email. I traded some emails with Robert when my mother transitioned to the nonphysical in February. In one of the emails he mentioned meeting his mother (who also had passed over) while he was projecting into the astral realms. He added how perfectly happy and wonderful she was. He also made reference to the movie in one of those emails, if memory serves me.

Yes, it brought tears to my eyes when she begins to tell her father that she did not look like the asian women while in the physical and he relizes it's his daughter. I hope the afterlife is just like that. Also be sure to see "waking Life." and also " The Others"

Just wondering how many of you have seen this film (based on the novel by Richard Matheson). It's incredible.
Honestly one of THE best films I have ever, ever seen.
I just can't believe I have had it on tape for around 3 or 4 years and never got around to watching it until just yesterday (I've watched it 3 times in 2 days).
It rings true to just about everything I believe about the afterlife (with a few exceptions).
Robin Williams is an amazing actor and truly gave the film that little bit extra, that feeling of warmth he always brings to movies.
I am truly surprised at how underrated it is, I didn't even really know what it was about, let alone know the true beauty of it. But I guess that really goes to show how the population is yet to open their minds up to what dreams may come.[;)]
