Hi everyone.When i read your posts,i always enjoy reading your experiences.I Know that most of you have real experiences,OBES,but i also know that there are those who lie and dont have conscious experiences and just invent them to feel more interesting on this board(or others).
I know by experience that there are people who don't care about others,who lie and deceive with no regret.I can take an example,the writer LOBSANG RAMPA was the biggest liar and deceiver that this planet has ever known.
What i am saying is that some of you probably are willing to know how to do OBES. Fair enough,but remember that what you experience is the most important,not what other say or claim.

He claims to be the spirit of a Tibetan Lama in the body of an ordinary person from England, to begin with.
I don't really think there are a lot of liars here.
I never really understood what would motivate someone to lie on the Internet (expect for money of course).
To inflate their egos ? please .... although there are probably some liars.
I know that there are liars on this board,but they are even on other boards.It doesn't matter after all,as long as you know that all that you read is not always true.
LOBSANG RAMPA was an english plumber.He claimed for years that he was a tibetan lama,that he was chosen by providence to help this planet,that he had OBES,and even that he went to VENUS In a saucer...i don't advise people to buy his books.Anyway he died in 1981 but he misguided million people.
You can find other books of people saying they had OBES and other experiences,but infact,they had nothing,these experiences were pure invention.Sorry for my english,as i am not an english speaker :)

You bring up a good point. Don't let a faker discourage your interest. This is my third or fourth discussion board to participate in. I've seen it in all of them too, as you have already mentioned. Hopefully, the con game can be exposed. Sometimes it's not. To me, it shows character flaws, everyone has different weaknesses. One in particular, the lack of discernment (of otherwise talent). It's also a distraction, and a waste for self and others.
All things are a learning experience. What good is a sincere effort when one can be fooled? This is exactly why I stick to my tried and true ways. The truth pays off in the long run.
It's sad when you find compromises, and even right out fraud!
Thanks for bringing up the subject.
PS... I just look the other way for awhile. Eventually I will have to move on, when real isn't real anymore.

I can assure you that whatever I claim is my experience,true to the word.I swear on both my grandmothers graves!
Not that you all were thinking that or anything :lol: I just like to make things clear as possible. :)

jason, Liars and people who tell the truth would say that.
You know,i know a guy in north America who recently published a book.He says he does conscious OBES and that he does retrievials (helping people who die to go to the reception center,this concept comes from Robert Monroe).But what this guy does is that he reads the newspapers or find informations on internet about an event (when someone dies),and after that he claims that he retrievied the person in question.The bad thing is that one day the information in the journal was not accurate and he didnt pay attention to that.The next day the journalist apologised and told that it was a msitake,while the OBEman was telling people that he had retrivied that person (with all the wrong informations!) :lol:
A friend of mine told me that,as i don't live in the US,but i know it is true because several other persons said the same thing.

I've been quarreling with the concept(s) of truth for many years. I've finally realized that self-freedom and expression is vastly more important, because you can't rely on people to be honest with you in today's society; there's too much profit to be made from deceit. Can you really claim to have never lied even once in your life? If so, then congrats on being one in a million, or even less!
If you really absolutely 100% need the truth for your own fulfillment; I would think to learn discernment, rv, scrying, telepathy, etc.
In conclusion, be happy that you remain honorable and trustworthy, yet don't be so nieve and foolish as to expect powerful people to be likeminded.
