It seems like a lot of cities have strange street names...what are some around you?

I've come across:

Bonus Ally Road (by far the strangest)
Carton Ave
Winner Ave (In one of the not-so-nice sections of town)
Expense St. (Also in one of the not-so-nice sections of town)

Osmancık road.
Osman is a name and in Turkish Osmancık road means "The little Osman road"
and Horror string. Horror string is a very narrow road which is placed on a cliff it is easy to fall down so they call it by this name.. -Again in Turkey-

Stookie

I know that the name's not too strange, but we have about 47 different Peachtree Streets in Atlanta. It can be quite confusing for an out-of-towner.

Nay

Hahaha Stookie, I was going to mention that!  Crazy how many there are.  I hate all the one-way streets.. I try not to go downtown too much.

It's time to leave the  fundamentalists and the  relativists in the margins of history.

There was a recent program on the origin of word's called "bulderdash& piffle" where they would choose odd and taboo word's and see if they could  find earlier origin's of the word to take to the writer/author's of the oxford English dictionary to get the history and meaning changed.
They were successful in many cases, like with the word COOL, but the taboo word was C*&T and there was a place were prostitutes hanged out that is still called grope-c*&t-lane sorry if Anyone's offended but if you don't believe just look it up!!!

GANAMOHA

sore finger rd in arizona. I passed it while traveling to the grand canyon. Then I got to thinking there has to be some type of story behind the name you know.
I stand at the threshold of what could be a new world

There is a town in England called Crackpot, made the news a couple of weeks ago since those car road map navigation systems (eg tomtoms) were sending people to cliff edges who were not exactly asking for a seaside tour. So well named town then.

Mount Pleasant, strange because its where I used to live. I even took the Mount Pleasant sign with me when I moved, so I actually do come from the mountain, and water is under the bridge.

There is a road in PA called Street Rd. I can't help but think how bad these guys imaginations must have been that the only name for a road they could think of was Street Rd.

And FL has two roads called Florida and Nebraska. But there is another road called Floribraska. I guess it intersects both Florida and Nebraska?!
Reality is what you perceive it to be.
