Title: What's the weirdest spam subject line you've gotten?
Post by: Kodemaster on August 10, 2006, 06:28:55
Hello all:

What's the weirdest junk email ("spam") subject line that you're gotten (excluding the explicit ones, which I know make a up a large percentage of them)?

Mine was for "WOMEN - Self Defense Against Psychic Attack and Manipulation, a Practical Guide" (Why only women? -K)

Another one was: "strange a p*r*e*f*e*r*e*n*c*e P.e.r.h.a.p.s a s*u*d*d*e*n and blunt compliment which - large one Apply the flame to the" <---(I'm not making this up!!! -K)

Those are pretty funny.

I remember I got one that cracked me up, unfortunately I don't remember what it was now. It seems most I get now is just a jumble of numbers and letters that really make no sense. If they are going to email me, they should atleast entertain me!

I could not, would not, something really obscene.
Will not, will not, a pyramid scheme.
I will not read it on a lark.
I will not, will not think again.
Not in a bunch! I'll not buy from thee!
Not from afar! Not at my ISP.
Not even when it's free.
Not if its lewd.
Not in the nude.
I would not like it here or there.
I would not like it anywhere.
I do not like your e-mail spam.
I do not like it Spam-I-am.

You do not like it,
so you say.
Read it! Read it!
And you may.
Read it and you may, I say.

Spam!
If you will let me be,
I will try it,
You will see.

Say!
I do detest your e-mail spam!
I do! I hate it! Spam-I-am!
I really hate you, and your floozie!
I will hunt you with an Uzi!
I do not want that something really obscene!
I do not want your pyramid scheme!
They should take you to the deck!
And once there... should stretch your neck!
You are so evil, so evil, you see!
Get thee Satan away from me!
If I could find you and your ISP,
I would piddle in your shoes and on your knee!
I find you crude!
I find you rude!
I do not like you here or there.
I would not like you anywhere.
I do not like your e-mail spam.
Death to you
Death to you
Spam-I-am.

I'll have to look through my inbox. I've been using one address since around 97 and it gets hundreds of spam messages a day. Some of them are hilarious, it's like the spam bots have gone mad and they consist of quotes, deranged stories and poetry :D.

The odd strings of words at the bottom of spam is or at least was an attempt to by-pass certain filters that various e-mail providers use.  I actually don't get the ones with the wierd text anymore.

I do have a couple of favorites that I will read when I get them because I like to see how well they are constucted.

1.  The "I am So and So from some small country where some died and had lots of money..blah,blah Trying to get it out of the bank and your fee will be 10-30%  if you help.

2.  Hi, I saw you on the internet and think you're hot.  This is my AIM.

3.  E-bay, Chase Bank, Pay-Pal security e-mail alert.  Blah, Blah, multiple logins. Blah Blah Click here.

4.  If they knew enough about me I wouldn't be trying to give me the blue pill ethier.

5.  And yes, I know I developing man boobs, and NO I don't want to make them bigger.

The wierdest spam subject lines I have gotten are "Can't make the first step to a pretty body?", "Want to learn free Spansih?", "Just register and play 10 to receive cash", and "simon aau".
The last one is the is an e-mail of some wierd stories that people keep sending me that I never even signed up for.
