IMO i really enjoy the form of forum you may have noticed "Trolls" in the OOBE experience section but I presuming the Modulators are removing their posts which is always helpful in controlling some of the content but i do see what you're getting at.

Pal talk has a bunch of rooms , a few are new age/med phy. It wont run on Linux so I am not on there at the minute . http://www.paltalk.com/ I also have links to some adult only chat rooms , i will give them in p.m. only .

I use paltalk, facebook and skype for chat and visual chat.
These forum posts are actual chatrooms.
There was a chatroom the last time I was here, which to be fair was 10 years ago. At least I think it was here, i'm never too sure of where I've been these days.
There was a chat room when I was around - probably 15 years ago. Saying that, it wasn't part of this website, even though it was for Pulse members. It was run by a member called Rastus. I've no idea whether a chat room was added onto the forums, as I moved on about 10 years ago.
Maybe someone else can help. :-)
I've been here roughly seven years now and the forum is now as it was then. No chat room.
The only chat room I've been a part of was the one I started in IRC for my own website.
It's still mostly active with some people who hang out there, but I haven't logged into it for a while now.
It probably was somewhere else, it'll come back to me in time!!
