I don't know if anyone else is watching Stargate Universe or not, but I need to express how ticked I am about the season-finale tonight.
Absolutely fuked up. I cannot believe they did that shite. I mean, the description said "conclusion", conclusion my butt.
You're supposed to resolve the season specific conflict and leave a new cliffhanger for next season. This was just ridiculous.
And, to make it worse, season 2 isn't coming until October!!!! OCTOBER?!!??!?!
Wait a minute, it goes even further. Not only is it not coming back till October, but they showed clips from next season. That means that season 2 has already been filmed, edited and is ready to go. But nooooo, instead we get more Eureka and Warehouse 13 (I love both of those by the way) until October. I am soo ticked. Really.

It is beyond cliff-hanger.
More like you're hanging on the edge of a cliff, dangling 1000feet above a chasm of jagged rocks when a pterodactyl flies by and rams you in the testicles with it's head. subsequently you begin vomiting all over yourself while you're struggling to not let go of the already loose grip between you and certain death. then for not apparent reason a squirrel with a hot poker walks by on the clifftop and starts burning your fingers one by one. then he calls all of his squirrel friends and they are start chewing off your finger tips, bone and all. you are now at the point where you want to just let go and fall to your death because right now you welcome the sweet release of entrails splattered across the valley floor. and right as you're about to let go a have a leisurely fall into oblivion, the a-hole squirrels return with the hot pokers but this time they jam them through your hands, effectively pinning you to the cliffside with no hope of freedom. so while they continue to slowly gnaw off your fingers, a vulture flies by and thinks you look suspiciously like Prometheus and being the dedicated vulture that he is, he decides not to take any chances and eats your liver which proceeds to grow back just as fast as he can eat it. and this continues over and over until october. all the while a big tv screen in the sky repeatedly plays the few short teaser clips from the next season.
Stargate the movie was good, the tv shows sucks. Stop watching the crap.

The movie was a great introduction, I love the movie. But they open up a universe of possibility with that movie. I always hoped they would continue the story. I was just so curious.

I was browing the forum and being a big "fan" of stargate... i had to post. I saw everything that means stargate, every stargate movie and tv show. I wasn't happy either when i saw how the last SGU episod ended.

BTW, I think the show was much better than the movie. The movie was good, but, there's no one like McGuiver. And the Universe one is better than Atlantis, IMO. But nothing like the first one.

Actualy in my opinion SG-1 was the best and then atlantis was pretty good and then SGU... in this order. SGU is nice but... it's not SG-1 or SGA. When you say "the movie" to which one are you reffering to ? because there are a few stargate movies.
SG-1, Atlantis, SGU.
period. if you're a traditionalist SG fan then that's the only way it can be.
and i'm assuming they mean "the movie". the others were more like continuations of SG-1.

That's one of the things I don't like about "internet social protocol". We all know perfectly well that the intent of a rule like that is to stop people with "malicious" intent. And you also know perfectly well that I'm just "absent minded" in this regard. I don't intend to post over and over to up my stats (maybe for a couple days back between my 3 & 4 stars), my stats are as far as they can go now, so that's obviously not the reason. And I'm not a "spammer" who is somehow trying to overrun the forum and destroy threads. But blanket rules are made (and like you said, not enforced seriously) that lump legitimate posters in with crap posters.

Well, you need to have your papers with you at all times if you live in Arizona, and possibly Florida if the Nazis have their way, which they will, because it's become a hot-button issue with the main nazi having more campaign money to spend than the other one.
But now I digress, sorry for derailing the topic.
SGU was basically the only regular show I've watched in the last few months, and I've been enjoying it more than I did the first season of Atlantis. Those musical moments drive me nuts when everyone is having an emotional breakdown at once and some pop rock song starts playing.... gah! Besides for that, its been a fun ride and I look forward to the next season. The only other show I look forward too at the moment is Caprica.
SG1 also my favorite!
