A rather simple question on Astral Movement

 Hello all,
I'm new here, I only joined about 10 minutes ago.

But my question, that I'm sure several of you will be able to answer, is... How exactly does one go about moving while out of body? When you feel like your "astral body" is ready to go roam about and your conscience has shifted or whatever, do you just... move, like, naturally, like you would if you were in body, or do you have to will yourself around? I'm quite afraid I'll have switched over, then try moving and slip back in body. I've read several things, but they all seem rather vague. "Move an arm or a leg for partial separation..." "Slowly move out of body." "To focus on something in the astral, move your arm and grab hold of it..."

In the astral dimension to move around its as simple as thinking about where you wish to go and as you say "will" yourself there :) Its all thought based

I dont believe theres any real direct way to answer this.  I first learned by pretending it way my actual body, however since I had none at the time, It was very hard to move around at times.  I kept falling over--putting too much emphasis on trying to walk.  Other times i'll walk just fine like I had a physical body.  I think it depends mostly on your frame of mind and you strength of will.  Believing things will play out to your intent it a major deal.  That gives us the ability to fly and even change form.  BUt yeah, my first time, I just rolled out of bed basically...you'll suddenly become aware during your light sleep that you are not in normal wake mode, yet are awake, and this is when you can easily "seperate"--for starters.  Practice by noticing yourself fall asleep.. the process of fall asleep.
