wow thats really interesting ill have to try that tonight. but i can see how that would work though, fore you would have a lot of detail to go over giving you a clearer image to focus on and yousd have alot to think about i definetitly see that working thanx.

I tried it yesterday but with no luck. To be fair though, I was fully awake at the time, & could

Will give it another go, though...

i finally got to register to this forum :)

but anyway, i read about that meditation technique somewhere a couple days back and last night i tried it. i started by visualizing myself to the time when my day started but in another point of view. sort of like im watching myself. i watched myself get up and i also watched my thoughts at the time. i walked myself through the day although sometimes i'd skip parts accidentally but then i just kinda added it in to my visualizing. towards the end, i watch myself up until the present moment where I am meditating. i then sat in front of myself and then slowly visualizing my consciousness now, blending in with the myself as I am visualizing it. i hope that wasnt too confusing. kinda like looking at a mirror and blending myself with the one in the mirror, feeling the blending. the key here is to have a clear image of you as you are observing yourself through the day. kinda like replaying a video tape. when i reach the end, i felt like i was in a deep relaxed state, both body and mind. i wasnt lying in my bed but rather in a sitting buddha type position. success in my goal which was to try that new technique i read about.

last night i had an idea and i got really far with it untill i had to use the bathroom, but i think it will work for others too. well first i got really relaxed so my pulse rate and breath rate were lowered. and my pulse and breath rate were lowered. then i started going through my average day in my head, with all the mundane details assoiated with a normal school/work life. pretty soon i realized i was in a really deep focus 10 i could not even feel my left half. i felt like a soft gingerbread bread man that had his left side gently eaten. i think the key thing was that i was focusing my awareness "inside" my head and i wouldnt get lost in subconcious thoughts because my life is very routine and boring [|)] anyway it worked for me and maybe someone else should give it a try. the hard part, i thought, was trying to go through my WHOLE day and not just skip to the exiting parts. i believe that is due too a lack of concentration though. good luck!
