Questioner

My latest AP attempt brings me to the closest i have been recently.

Basically,i laid in bed and try to relax till i start to stop focusing on where my hands are,and i try to keep my mind awake. It will usually take me half an hour, but where i really get stuck is when i feel myself loosening.Basically i feel someting(like my inner body) swinging left to right(sometimes up and down) however,i than hit a brick wall.As soon as i hit this point,my body begins to twitch,my stomach clenches, and i am moving to much to try to attempt an exit.

Is thier something i can do to stop this from happening(cause i think i am soooo close.)

AstralBeginnings

Hey, im certainly no expert at all - I had my first OOBE just a couple of days ago and only started learning about this stuff a week ago so all I call say is what has worked (very quickly) for me.

From your post it seems you are over thinking it - an hour and a half to relax seems a long time but that could just be my view.  I recommend having a look at www.vehram.com.  Its a simple method which has worked immediately (first attempt) for me.  It doesnt involve hours trying to relax because you already ARE relaxed.  Anyway, I wont go into much detail here but I highly recommend you read the book - its just $10.

Those "twitches" and "clenches" is your bodily response to "sensations" that you're not used to.
It's your fight or flight response responding "FLIGHT!".

You've just gotta keep at it and tell yourself not to worry, that everything you're experiencing is "natural".  :)

Dear Questioner,

rocky, uncontrolled exits are not necessary.

Lay there patiently, without fearing, desiring or expecting anything to happen you're loose enough from your physical body.
Once you're ready, simply shoot out of youre forehead. This is how I do it. Sometimes creating an object a few feet in front of me in the zone helps me centralize my awareness there and pull me out into the zone.
Astral arms and legs aren't necessary either. Move out of your body like a free floating camera.

kind regards,
