I've now had a decent amount of nonphysical experiences and some of them being very long, the next thing on my list is to ask to see my guardian.

Is there a preferred way by anyone on this forum for when you all want to see your guardian? Do I refer to it as a guardian? guide?

I imagine it goes like "may I see my guardian?"

some of the times (for me) just asking for a guide didn't seem to work.. I had to emit a feeling of love and compassion for them. I've always referred to them as a guide i.e. "Will a guide please visit me".. or ask your higher self "please take me to a guide!" (which is my preferred phrase)

You should try to give some kind of question, which you might need a guide's help to answer.

I am of the opinion (or get the idea) that guides only show themselves if you're ready for them.  Sometimes it's easier, instead of asking for a guide to show, to ask to get a dream that gives you ideas- it's easier to process.

So with that being said, do we create our guides, or are they actually our guide if that makes sense. Lol

I think a little bit of both.  Helpful self aspects, dudes that can help, as grzazek said, and I think some guides are with us for a long time, until we don't need them anymore.  I don't think there's a 'rule', I think we all have an individual plan, and that includes who's going to be there to help.

This question are guides has been bugging me recently.

As to what to call them, I find Guides is to professional/impersonal. Rather like a Tour Guide. I beleive then we can have people who choose to help, though I half recently been wondering if we can have parts of ourselves that can manifest.

Tour guide is a profession where I'm from.

I recall asking for my spirit guide on 4 different occasions. I got no response the first time, recieved a cryptic message in videogame form the second time, was attacked by an Egyptian-looking guy the third time, and was attacked by gnomes the last time. Take from this what you will.  :-D

I'm still in the process of finding out who my guides/helpers are as well... but, the way I understand it, you'll have to remain open to *ANY* sense that you might get from them, as it won't always be anything verbal.

I like the term 'facilitators'.  I know it sounds impersonal, but it takes emotion away from the term.

And removes most, if not all of the "mystical" connotations that surround the terms "guides/helpers".
I know that might not have been your intent, but I like it.  :)

I don't know about guides or helpers but I have seemingly helped strangers in metaphysical environments who looked pretty lost or trapped. I sort of stumbled upon their constructs and I either felt like helping them or they asked me for help. Whether it was real or imagined I don't know but what I do know is that anyone can do the "helping", you don't need a rank or to be special to do that.

C'mon, let's get a bit mystic and romantic at the same time and call them Angels again.  :-D
