Astral plane and AEROPLANE

I had the most obscure thought recently.
As I am flying back to south Africa soon, I was wondering if it would be at all possible to project whilest 2000ft above the earths surface??

I wouldnt see why not, but do u reckon there could be any dangers involved in any way, or not??

Absolutely not. The mind does not exist in three dimensions. The only thing to take note of is the fact you will realise you're not on the ground. That's about it. Otherwise you could be floating in a capsule around the earth and there'd be no difference.
