something i was pondering while falling asleep

In the twilight hours of the night.. I'm still up, and unable to sleep, and here are some things that are running thru my mind:

1.)  Why do children have more psychic experiences?

They have more positive energy due to more positive things happening in their lives.  They are constantly doing fun things, trying new things they've never tried before, being stimulated by things that they're experiencing for the first time.  They are carefree and stressfree.  They are surrounded by unconditional love, support, and protection from their family.  They haven't yet been programmed by society to disbelieve in magick.

More ideas that popped into my head is that adults can have those same experiences if they would make sure they set aside free time for themselves, which is devoted solely to having fun and experiencing new things.  By new things, I don't mean watching a new movie.  I mean, going to a place you've never been before, whether it be going to the mountains and hiking, going to a party and meeting new people and opening up to them and experiencing something new.  Also, adults should make sure they feel loved by someone, and the love and security may make them feel more secure in the psychic world and create more resilience and defense against negativity.

2.)  Why do most people have mental projections to their inner mind rather than astral projections to the outer world?

The obvious is the answer:  People prefer dreams in which the other characters do what you want them to do.  This is more fun than a dream where the other characters think for themselves.  We prefer to control them with our minds  as well as control the environment around us with our minds.

When I was younger, I dreamed of being in deserted shoping centers a lot, or I dreamed of being at the elementary school, but nobody else was there.  These dreams were a lot more vivid than the ones I have now.  But over time, I learned to manipulate my dream surroundings so that fake characters were there to keep me company and so there were more fun things to do.

3.)  Why do people have dreams on the astral realm, more so than the etheric RTZ realm?

Because people are egocentric.  They feel like the world revolves aroudn them.  They can't escape their feeling of me, me, me!  You have to learn to separate the I from the me.

We should learn to feel more like one with the universe, and stop being so egocentric.  Maybe then we could share dreams and become part of the collective conciousness.

Being a part of and sharing experiences with the collective conciousness of the earth is much more satisfying than merely focusing on your own little problems and your own little inner subconcious realities, don't you think?

Well, since this forum is about astral conciousness, I thought my thoughts would be relavant.  I wanted to write them now, because I will most likely forget them in the morning if I don't. 

Hopefully, we can make this into a neat little discussion!!
