I hope I'm posting correctly, I'm new to the forum.

I've read a lot about sight and hearing in the astral.  Can one touch astrally?  Taste?  Smell?  Feel bodily pain such as heartburn? Can one feel gravity if one chooses?  Is there a sense of balance?  Does the astral body breathe by necessity or by choice?  Are there astral senses that have no human counterpart, such as new colors or telescopic/microscopic vision or infrared/ultraviolet sensing or magnetic senses such as migrating birds have?

I would like to eat an entire astral German chocolate cake without gaining a physical ounce.  And smoke a few packs of astral cigarettes without harming my physical lungs.

Also, if a pregnant woman astrally projects, will her fetus project along with her?  Could her astral body feel a kick from her astral fetus?

If an astral body has any weight whatsoever, however light, and decided to explore a black hole, would the astral body be crushed by the near-infinite gravity?

I wish I could have an OBE myself to find out (except for the last question) but it is medically inadvisable.

I've read a lot about sight and hearing in the astral.  Can one touch astrally?  YES Taste? YES Smell? YES Feel bodily pain such as heartburn? MAYBE Can one feel gravity if one chooses? YES Is there a sense of balance? THERE CAN BE Does the astral body breathe by necessity or by choice? AIR IS NOT NECESSARY Are there astral senses that have no human counterpart, such as new colors or telescopic/microscopic vision or infrared/ultraviolet sensing or magnetic senses such as migrating birds have? YES

I would like to eat an entire astral German chocolate cake without gaining a physical ounce.  And smoke a few packs of astral cigarettes without harming my physical lungs. OK

Also, if a pregnant woman astrally projects, will her fetus project along with her?  Could her astral body feel a kick from her astral fetus? I DON'T KNOW, I'VE NEVER BEEN PREGNANT

If an astral body has any weight whatsoever, however light, and decided to explore a black hole, would the astral body be crushed by the near-infinite gravity? I DOUBT IT, BUT NEVER TRIED EITHER

I wish I could have an OBE myself to find out (except for the last question) but it is medically inadvisable. WHY?

Thanks for your reply, Stookie_,

You say air is not necessary.  OK, but could I have the sensation of taking a deep breath if I chose to?  I sometimes enjoy breathing.

It is not wise for me to explore OBE experiences myself because I have schizophrenia (mostly controlled by medication) and pursuing OBEs could cause me to have a psychotic break from reality.  A medical professional who is familiar with my case and who has had OBEs personally has advised me not to try to induce one.

Do you believe one can time travel into the past or future via an OBE?  Can one experience whatever weather one wants?  Is there a sun, or is it all light and never night?

Another question...

As I child I watched a show called "Land of the Giants" where one goup of people were about 4 inches tall compared to another group.  Can one change the size of an astral body to be very large or very small?  We could gain some interesting new perspectives on the biological kingdom!  Or even the chemical or subatomic world.

When you're in the non-physical, ask yourself this... what exactly do you think you're breathing?  It's not air... I'll tell you that.  :)
You're breathing the "IDEA" of what you "BELIEVE" to be air.  :)  Think about that for a second.

Now, use this knowledge and apply it towards your other questions.  You can answer them for yourself.

I don't believe one can travel "into" the past or future... I believe that one can view the past or possible futures though.  There's a subtle difference.

In the astral, time or space does not exist. So you don't need to breath because no time passes and you will not be crushed because mass doesn't exist.

The equal and opposite set of rules apply. One example is instantly manifesting intent. Or probably more relevant to your current train of thought: Two things can occupy the same place at the same time, like ideas aggregating into one another. It is your consciousness we are talking about delving into here. You can experience it as well as any of us.

Cheers,
Contenteo

yes. it has been documented many times. the fetus is usually in tow via a golden 'spring' that prevents damage to the fetus during quick acceleration and sudden stops. can you tell i am joking :D

i don't know the answer to your question, but it made me chuckle:)
