I'm a newbie to this forum, so, hi. :) I'm just gonna start with an issue I've been having while trying to astral project. (Don't know if this is the right place to post it though) So, my problem is that whenever I try to astral project, I get to the vibration state and that's it. I can't separate myself from my physical body. In addition, am I supposed to see anything during this stage? Because all I see is black and random colors. Thank you so much in advanced to anyone who replies! :)
Experiment and see what works for you. Keep trying different things. When something does not work, try and work out why it did not work. You are best person to try to figure it out. That is how I learnt. You could try to reach out to the colours by using your spiritual arms. You could do an ap technique. You could imagine that you are at a park and you are seeing colours.

It doesn't hurt to ask for help telepathically when you are stuck. Just don't be surprise when someone lifts you out of your body :lol:
A great many first-time projectors get energy sensations or vibrations, but go no further, despite several attempts.
An idea I would ask you to consider is this: the decision to project seems relatively straight-forward, but it's more than that. It's a decision that has to be considered and permission granted from at least 2 but probably 3 or more internal 'selves'. Your conscious mind, your subconscious, your higher self/inner self, maybe others. You may not be aware of this internal debate as it is playing out. You may experience energy sensations as a literal trial run, to see if you are ready for this. Excitement and fear have to be kept under control at all times.
At some point you will get to the next step, which may involve some hypnogogia, visuals, sounds, intense feelings. These are tests. Sometimes they shock us: a Bang!, a scream, a whisper. Sometimes it's a voice saying "NO! Don't go there! Go back now!". The first few times it can really catch you off-guard and ruin the attempt, but you have to persevere. This is a test of your seriousness, by who, anybody's guess but I think it is pulling the hypnogogic material from your subconscious.
Or, you may avoid the hypnogogia and continue with the vibrations. You can experiment with finding the 'release point' which may occur during or even a few minutes after the vibes fade. It varies.
So, knowing all this, you can open another channel of communication to your inner self very simply by coming up with and using some affirmations.
Something like-
"I give myself permission to have an out of body experience."
" I am safe and protected."
" I remain calm and passively aware."
Try those three for a week. Write them down once during the day. Repeat them three times mentally as you lay down for bed. Trust in the fact that after a few days, your subconscious will be getting the message. :wink:
