Impermanence

Those are my most recent experiences.

Here they are:

OBE #016 - Saturday 26 July 2008

Time: 11:00 AM

Note: Used Phasing method. No Lapse in consciousness.

Those past few weeks I always wake up at about 3-4am. Then when I fall asleep, I dream only one dream, then I wake up. I fall asleep again in about less then 5 minutes, then I dream another dream. The same thing for about 6 times. I don't know why, but it's really great for dream recall and OBE practice. After about the 6 dream, I lay still in my bed and decide to try phasing.

My body is completely relaxed at this point. I concentrate on visualizing a rope on the ceiling. To my surprise, my visualizations have much more details then usual. I feel/see myself climbing the rope. As I get to the ceiling, I let go of the rope. I imagine that I was climbing a rope below a floating platform in the sky and that I am falling really fast. I see the island getting smaller. Then, all of a sudden, I feel myself falling really fast. (Note: the whole visualization form start to finish took about 30 seconds, I was blown away by how fast it happened.) I can also hear and feel clearly the air around me. It's not a sensation from my physical body but still, the sensation was the same as if my bed was launched from the sky. At first I am taken aback by the experience then I calmed myself. I start to feel some vibrations/energetic sensation in my head. I do my best to ignore them. After some time, I start to see what seemed to be a gigantic balloon  floating near me, the same kind that are used in a pool. As my vision fade-in, I can see my hand and the blue sky around me. I reach out with my hand and I can clearly touch it, as if I am using my physical arms. At this point however, I am still aware of being in my bed also. My awareness seem to go back and forth between states. The sense that seemed to be the harder to get stable is my vision. When I tried to open my non-physical eyes after my vision started to fade away, I end up opening my physical eyes. What I found interesting is that I could still move my non-physical arms and touch the big balloon-thing and I still felt myself falling. I closed my physical eyes and after some time my non-physical vision kicked in. After about 5 minutes of that, I drifted to sleep and woke up later.

Notes: -The key to this experience for me was the state I was in at the start. I must not have woken up totally from the previous dream and much have been in Focus 10 or even 12. I could see the outline of my mind-eye vision, which is different from 'sensing' or 'knowing'.
-As I mentioned, the sensation was really intense. It's not the same thing as imagining you are falling, it was like my physical body was falling from the sky, while I was still aware of being in my bed.
-What I found interesting is that in this experience, I could still go back to the non-physical state when I open my non-physical eyes. It's not like in my previous experience because in those my awareness of the non-physical was cut-off when I when back in body. it was not like that.
-I'm certain the scenario I was in is a scene I created. What I would have done if I had more control over the experience is put up the intent to be in the 3D-Blackness then 'will' myself where I want to go.

OBE #017 - Wednesday 30 July 2008

Note: Used Phasing Method

Time: 9:30 AM

I am in my bed, waking up from a series of False Awakening. I lay still, close my eyes and decide to try and 'phase', using the method I used earlier this week. After what seem like 5 seconds, I find myself looking at my living room tv set and at the left there seem to be a Christmas tree without decoration. Those image are pale and dark, but I see them. It's like I am in my living room with the light turned off, I can see the outline of both. I try to make the imagery more real by moving my arms, touching my face and moving around the room. When I am facing the wall of the living room, all my senses are working perfectly, physical body-like, so to speak. I step thought the wall and I find myself facing the street in front of my house. I decide to try and fly around a bit. At first, I fly above the street and I look around. Then, I decide to try and enter a neighboor house I never visited. I fly near the house and enter it at full speed. As soon as I enter the house, everything goes dark. I can feel strong vibrations all around my body. As soon as I fly out of the house, my vision kick back in. I decide to experiment some more with movements while out of body. When flying, moving around, etc, I notice that everything work with intent. I have to concentrate and 'will' myself higher or lower, to look up and down, etc. I noticed also that my thoughts seemed too distracted in this experience, which had the effect to make my astral-body drifiting up and down, forward and back, just a little. I decided to try and visit my non-physical friend Elena again. I put up the intent and said it aloud. However, my astral-body was still drifting. I tried to close my eyes but I found myself back in my body after a couple of seconds.

Notes: -Environment: There was no Christmas tree in my house at the time of the experience (I don't make a habit of installing them during Summer,  :-P) Also, it was raining in C1 while when I was OOB it was just cloudy. I think I should have put up the intention to see the astral reflexion of my current environment if I wanted accuracy in my observations.
-The transition from Waking to looking at the tree and TV in my living room was really fast, it felt about 5 seconds. When I closed my eyes, I didn't visualize anything, I was just trying to drift back to sleep some more. It looked like I entered Focus 12 really quick.
-I am sure that I wasn't able to visit my friend because my thought were too scatered. It was the first time I really experimented with movement while out-of-body, and I found it require really intense concentration. A small thought can send you the wrong way.

Thanks for sharing - sounds awesome. Good observations and note taking. It's a great example of "phasing". :)
